With all the NaNoWriMo drama I decided to pick up something I started in '23 and adapt it to a new idea mid-October. Just finished it today. 60k words, plus a bit of rewriting at the start leaves me with 65k in 24 days. Will be a nice length when I flush out all the stuff I skimmed over.
