Back in the day, for some odd reason, I used to be obsessed with We Wish You A Turtles Christmas. I decided to watch it for the first time ever as an adult. I.... cannot believe this thing was even made. Why does this exist? Youtube: youtu.be/j97QiY_PO9s #Christmas #TMNT #NinjaTurtles

I have rewatched The Polar Express for the first time since I was a kid and I got a lot to say about it. So this weekend, I'm gonna rant about it live on stream while playing The Polar Express on the Playstation 2. I hope y'all get your hot chocolate ready, it's gonna be an entertaining night 🎄🚋🎅

Talk about unexpected, I just got invited to be “Threads Contributor”. From what I can understand, if I do get approved, I might be a part of a small number of folks who can actually do Community Notes on Threads. I guess my hardwork of being a reliable source for Pop Culture news has paid off?

It genuinely boggles my mind that LEGO has never thought to greenlight a LEGO Dimensions remake that has all the content in it so people don't need to go out and collect toys in this scalper-heavy climate.

According to a display seen at Zurich Popcon, several LEGO games may be getting a Switch 2 Edition in the future. Those games include: - LEGO City Undercover - LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - LEGO Jurassic World - LEGO Harry Potter - LEGO DC Super-Villains (via: LEGO Video Game Museum)

I think one of Disney's biggest fumbles is not figuring out a way to revive Club Penguin. That game had such a positive effect on people that it has lifelong fans who would legitimately spend money on a subscription and cosmetic micro-transactions. Imagine NOT capitalizing on that nostalgia.

Spent months building up a presence and community on Threads just for there to be an upcoming AI riddled featured absolutely no one wants on the platform

The Bad: + Despite being prevalent, dialogue choices don't change the outcome of the story. + The lockpicking minigame is overly difficult (though you can turn it off) + The Sabbac minigame is way more than difficult than it should be + The final boss is weirdly difficult for no reason at all

000

Justin | IDontBeatGames @idontbeatgames.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

The Good: + Using Kay's blaster is hard to use at first by design but as you upgrade it, it becomes way easier to use + The Ship gameplay was way more expansive than I thought it'd be. Though, it's not perfect. + I loved the "Slicing" Puzzles (basically Wordle) + Stealth gameplay was fine

Justin | IDontBeatGames @idontbeatgames.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

The Great: + I loved Kay Vess and her crew + Nix (her pet) is adorable and fun to use + The reputation/faction stuff was actually enjoyable to balance and think about throughout your playthrough + Photo Mode is genuinely stellar + Riding the Speedster rules + Cinematics and music slaps (of course)

Is it bad that, despite having to infiltrate the imperial, this place kind of feels like home? (I'm kidding, I swear I'm not a Sith, unless..) #StarWars

I am absolutely loving Star Wars Outlaws on the #NintendoSwitch2. You'd think the ultimate #StarWars fantasy would be being a Jedi or Sith but it turns out, for me, it might just be being a scoundrel. Who would've thought?

It’s kind of amazing how much better the weather is when it’s not blazing hot outside. Like right now, NYC’s weather feels like a regular Fall day and it’s honestly beautiful.

The world needs more licensed games and I am tired of pretending otherwise. Give me more low budget games about movies, shows, comics or books. I’ll absolutely play those over big budget AAA games.

010

Justin | IDontBeatGames @idontbeatgames.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

This might be a no-brainer purchase for me. I honestly think this is a genuinely respectable price for a Collectors Edition considering it has actual thought out into it. Plus, I actually think the game itself looks fun unlike most people. And, you know, I am a sucker for licensed games. Why not?
