All the best things started October 2nd!

Let's see if I have this right... If Rick Devens wins #BB28, he'll be the second-oldest winner, and the only time someone 40+ has won, Devens was less than a year older than Drew is now.

Big, fun TV night tonight, of course. But later? Kicking off October with Blade II.

Dammit! RIP, Dennis Haskins. I'm rewatching a bunch of Saved by the Bell, including season 2 of The New Class. Kind of crazy that three of its eight stars are gone.

Drew thinks he made a big move by evicting Dee when he could've evicted Devens? And Drew evicting Yash over Dee because he's the bigger comp threat and then *not* evicting Devens over Dee? I think that's just gonna make him look flakier and more like Devens' lapdog. #BB28

With a WEEK between the last eviction and the finale, I thought at least they had the benefit of spacing out part 1 and part 2 of the HOH competition. Seemed better for production, better for feeds... So, wrapping it up within a day was an interesting choice. #BB28

If the finals end up Taylor vs. Drew, I can see it being incredibly important for Taylor to win the final HOH. Having won the last two HOHs undercuts a comp beast view of Drew. Add to that, denying Drew the chance to show he'd actually cut Devens? Might be the only way to move the needle. #BB28

Very sad to lose Dee. Love her passion. I think she reads winner and I'd've loved to have that solidified as the first to take the double crown. I came in biased from watching her before and her being silly enough to follow me + an exchange of just one DM but one that was meaningful to me. #BB28

I'd be curious to see the alternate timeline where Taylor or Mallory beats Drew in the block buster... #BB28

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

You know what would've been a really fun alternative to having icons on #BB28? Having a season of Celebrity Big Brother with an all-reality TV "icon" cast.

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

If Drew really wanted to prove his loyalty to the Crossovers, once and for all, he'd self-evict. 🤷 #BB28

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hoping this means the original Darkwing Duck series finally gets completely released on #physicalmedia, and hopefully, it's on Blu-ray! 🤞

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Just saw that Thursday's #BB28 changed to two hours!

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I would like to have seen how this cast specifically would've done with Hide and Go Veto. #BB28

Time for the #BB28 Final Four HOH, or as #Survivor calls it, Safety Without Power...

010

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

With an #AmazingRace winner, maybe the show will finally be acknowledged? Maybe?? I'm most excited for Taylor and Q, and interested in seeing Dominic Monaghan (♪You all everybody!♪). It's a bit of a bummer that the oldest season of #Survivor of #BigBrother represented is from 2016. #TheTraitorsUS

I figure part of the rationale for showing jurors who the next juror is first before any other information is for maximum shock value. That may normally be the case, but with their refusal to evict Dee, this may not be the best season for it. #BB28

000

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I'm guessing Melody will at least try to claim credit for getting Yash out...but...can she really? #BB28 She didn't beat him out for HOH. She wanted an icon out. She didn't beat him out for veto--I think he was way ahead of her, anyway. I'm assuming she pushed Drew to vote out Dee.

050

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Did not go quite how I wanted tonight, and I'm definitely bummed for Barrett. But overall, I'm thrilled. Loved the unpredictable Melody wins. And Ending on Drew's waffling vote, only for him to keep Dee? Yash's comp threat is gone? Both Dee and Devens can compete for HOH? Love it. #BB28

010

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

There was a *little* part of me that wanted Melody to win the veto, because her completing the modern trifecta in a single night would've been hilarious #BB28

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Yash asking if anyone else is parched the episode before becoming the first(?) houseguest to stop for water on his way out the door? Great foreshadowing. Too bad wasn't deliberate.* #BB28 *Assuming someone didn't take the dining table time machine to go back and put it in last night's episode.

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

I've reached Guardians of the Galaxy in my MCU watch. Can't believe the *fourth* movie in Phase Two is the first non-sequel. I'm also confused about why every phase doesn't end with an Avengers. That would seem logical to me.

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

It really surprised me to learn that Julia Stiles is younger than Tatyana Ali. #DWTS

050

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

I will be watching #DWTS, but never live (maybe for the finale?). Bluesky needs a catch-up feature that shows what you missed while you had something muted--and a toggle feature, to mute & unmute something, like a TV show that you'll want muted intermittently. @bsky.app

🙏🕯️How I want the rest of #BB28 to go🕯️🙏 Barrett wins BBBB. Melody evicted. Dee HOH, noms B & Drew. B veto. Drew evicted. Devens HOH, noms B & Yash. B veto. Yash evicted. Barrett HOH, noms D&D. Dee veto, Taylor evicted. Dee HOH. Barrett evicted. Dee wins #BB28. Barrett wins AFP.

Ted Nichols was the musical director at Hanna-Barbera for about a decade. I especially love the music he did for Scooby-Doo. Only just now, thanks to the Emmys "In Memoriam," did I learn that he died this year--all the way back in January. youtu.be/fxRbsGDWUp0?...

Drew is so much more fidgety. Easy to imagine him losing this, but I know one little slip from the others is all it takes and could easily happen. #BB28

010

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

More time has passed since Devens dropped and now than passed between Melody and Devens dropping. #BB28

Rooting for Barrett to win this veto. Aside from him being my favorite currently in danger, I don't want him to be immediately punished for taking the shot. I'll be worried if Drew wins the veto, but at least that means Barrett would only be up against Melody and Taylor in the BBBB #BB28.

I've reached the Night Court episode of 30 Rock, which is exciting for me, but it's also sad because these three are all gone.

Huzzah! Ultraman Omega coming to Blu-ray. Just disappointed this is how I figured out Omega isn't getting a movie. #physicalmedia #tokusatsu #toku

Everyone's clamoring to have only two nominees. Funny enough, that would guarantee Dee & Devens safety from this Yash HOH. #BB28

011

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Thinking through the numbers, I realized we've already reached the point where Dee and Devens are not safe from Yash. He can only nominate Drew, Barrett, Melody, and Taylor. Surely, Taylor is safe. But if she wins veto and uses it, Yash only has icons left as renoms. #BB28

130

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I do wish, if they were going to have three icons, that one would've been from #TheAmazingRace. But, I also know they can't expect the mass audience to know an #AmazingRace icon.

Angela Murray was playing Big Brother at 50, 51, 52, and 53. She's been going nonstop. 2024: #BB26 2025: #TAR38 2026: #BB28 2027: ???

Knick @idolthoughts.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

I don't expect it to happen, but The Mosh Pit being the BB Time Capsule vote winners + Barrett, it'd be cool if Barrett won AFP. #BB28

Hope Dee and Devens stay tonight. 🤞 #BB28 Hope they're joined by Barrett on finale night.

I think it's insane to do a time travel season without a battle back, but my grod, would people be calling foul if it happened now. #BB28

I've got a good night lined up, #BB28 live eviction and Sabrina. (Sabrina the Audrey Hepburn movie, not Sabrina the Teenage Carpenter.)

#BB28 Dee and swearing on someone's life in a reality TV competition show:

Tweet from Dee: "My mom after I swore on her life on Survivor" with picture of her mom, now "dead" with tongue hanging out and earbuds up her nose.

Instagram comment to Dee: I think that it's disgusting for swearing on your mothers life. It's just a game, nor worth your Mothers life !!!!
Dee's reply: too bad I'm gonna swear on your momma's life too

Happy 25th Anniversary, The #AmazingRace! A quarter century of detours, roadblocks, and Phil. Humor, heart, history, and culture from people and places we may not have otherwise been introduced to. Here's to the next 25 years, with the next trip around the world just 25 days away! #TAR39

Barrett is an unprecedentedly weird hard spot with the Yash bribe. But, bominating all three icons would build a game-winning reputation. #BB28

Threads are numbered now! That was one thing I liked more about Threads than Bluesky. Happy it's now lost that advantage.
