Finished Final Fantasy V SNES with the RPGe fantran. I did my own challenge run where each character gets one Job from each crystal. I definitely like the game more than my first playthrough, but I'd be lying if I said all the shortcomings went away. I respect it more than I love it

After months (I've been playing since MARCH), I finally beat Ogre Battle SNES. Maybe the most I've ever been impressed with a game. Absolutely massive, incredible depth, perfect presentation. How was this possible? I think I played for 40hrs and there's more I could have done! A landmark release!

I would not call the SNES my favorite or the best console ever, but I have been mulling over the idea that the late-stage SNES/SFC output is the most I have ever been impressed with a console. the next batch of systems pushed more 3D, but the 2D capabilities of this bad boy were not done yet.
