In それが声優！5, Hata Kenjirou talks about a pc magazine he read as a kid that published physical “hacks” for strengthening your character in Wizardry, including holding magnets by the disk or pouring coffee on it. I wonder how many complaints they got from people whose kids ruined the family computer

I can only hope he’s gotten his diabetes under control since then, or else he’s going to be writing 倉本60 with dictation software. The hardcore otaku lifestyle is not conducive to good health. Take care of yourselves…

After finishing 倉本 I started 倉本50, which was published 10 years later for Kurata’s 50th birthday. It includes writings from his column in 電撃萌王, some of which touch on his diabetes diagnosis journey and the loss of his left eye in his 40s

しすたぁエンジェル TerraLunar's debut work. Good comedy, voice acting, art and effects. Takes on a more serious tone in the latter half that wasn't as strong as the slice-of-life comedy, but I still enjoyed this - in some ways it felt like rakuen-lite, so I'd recommend any fans of that game to give it a try

Hirasaka Yomi recently announced that he’s retiring from the light novel industry. I wasn’t a fan of his newer stuff but I’m still kind of sad to hear it - the baka-tsuki haganai fanTL was the very first light novel I ever read, and it and ranobe-bu are still among my favourite LNs

I'm re-reading shugo chara in jp after originally reading it in eng ~18 years ago, and I think it's fascinating how I can confidently say that ikuto is /still/ my least favourite character of all time considering all the media I've consumed in those 18 years (I was a long-suffering tadamu shipper)

One vol wasn’t enough to flesh out 5 different girls so I’m hoping this sells well enough to get another book or two, especially after the reveal at the end. In the meantime I’ll definitely be checking out some of the author’s other works for more fun dialogue writing

五股のクズと、正しい恋の終わらせ方。 The premise was rather ridiculous but I enjoyed the banter between the mc and each of the heroines (and one poison-tongued, all powerful maid). It was also fun watching him squirm as he tries to avoid getting tangled in his steadily growing web of lies

I found some good stuff I hadn't seen before while looking for those pics so I am once again asking for an ebata risa artbook It just seems like such a waste to have all this good art used on trinkets like pin badges and acrylic stands, or one-time promotional materials that will be forgotten
