i'm so salty because i was at work for 14.5 hours... i was so nervous about my patient who seemed to be crashing... i'm always late because of patients with heart attacks!!! 🥲 (well duh ...) i spoke to the cardiologists three times (rare) but i guess it was valuable experience 😔 but still!!!!!!

the past few days made me realize that pushing myself out of my comfort zone and making a million mistakes is undoubtedly the way i actually end up learning new things...... if i just take things too easy and keep them low-effort, i just make no progress 😭

ahh this is crazy i get it now... the most effective and fastest way to learn words is having a reason to use the words and trying to recall them... you can't just passively learn it or read it once and expect to remember it forever 🫠😭 or study until it just clicks- because it won't 😫

last week, i'd just been sleeping well, i felt great, skin radiant, i took SUCH good care of myself for a week, so i didn't even bother to sleep before work and stayed up late. i got like, 2 hours of sleep, went to work... and ... back to square 1 😭 i need to stop that silly cycle 😐

these disney animation drawing lesson books (by walt stanchfield) are turning into some of my favorite books ever 🥹 i love his writing style and thinking out loud... he's nice, works hard, supportive, and nice to all his students... and tries to be funny too 😭 i would've loved those sessions 🥹

i tried Lingopie for a few minutes just now and immediately, right off the bat, the dictations/transcription was clearly incorrect from the audio- and the grammar explanations completely missee parts of the most basic particles... it's just AI, so i exited out of it so fast... makes me feel sad 😭

i think i'm gonna change my art routine totally!! i'm so much more resourceful and patient now?!? i'm just gonna alternate through finishing all my works in progress instead of waiting until i have enough time to finish just one-- i think i'll end up drawing better that way 🥹

today was funny because i was quite well rested, motivated, and full of energy mentally the entire night-- so the caffeine withdrawal fatigue (bc i'm avoiding it) felt so obvious,,, if anything it was annoying but i endured it without doing a single thing 😳 i can't wait 'til this period is over lol

i no longer have an excuse to buy extra food and drinks 😭😭

do y'know how it feels to notice a way to adjust a mistake in artwork that you weren't aware of in the past? in artwork in which you used to be able to see no flaws? artwork you really loved and thought was beautiful? seeing it as just a lot of flaws... it feels like the grieving process y'know...?!
