The correct move given his summer league performance. Eyes don’t lie.

Popping the champagne on a new partnership with Whitney K and Fire Records with new single Rosy, an up-tempo travelogue that blossoms into a euphoric Smog-like haze while detailing an intriguing underworld populated by passing strangers and half heard conversations. whitneyk.lnk.to/Rosy

So will @polarismusicprize.bsky.social retroactively award whoever was closest in final voting that year? If that Jennifer Castle’s Pink City we will gladly accept.

Reet is a deep Canadian (Estonian) cut. Found years ago her in Toronto. Gorgeous sounding record.

Jennifer Castle’s 2nd sold out night of the annual solstice Toronto shows was as always a simply stunning affair with the Camelot band (minus Carl due to broken wrist). Felt brand new and manifesting magic that is due to travel. Thankful that the night was filmed.

A Deloro shout out is a deep cut. Driver rolling! That nostalgic melancholy for those days in Toronto is felt very very deep in this talk between two GOATS.

Nice to C, Been mourning the loss of Toronto alt-weekly and daily year end lists. Always so many takes that locals could look forward to and now the decades old tradition of local press leads to bigger things pipeline has vanished. T.O. due to geography got it bad. What a difference a decade makes.

Jack Armstrong just now referencing The Beatles Revolution #9 by repeating “number 9” twice followed by silence from Matt Devin maybe my favourite moment on a Raptors broadcast. Awkward and psychedelic all at once and speaks to Jack’s youth in a way I have always suspected.
