I find heather so difficult to photograph well, but with the right early morning light it can look pretty enchanting. #Heather #Heide #Drenthe #Macro #Pentacon #Bokeh #Dew #Droplets #Sunlight #Morning #Romantic #Details #Summer #Purple #Nature #Flower #Photography #ColorADay

Heide blooming on Balloerveld in Drenthe, The Netherlands. The purple heather is in full bloom, whilst glimmering in the morning sunlight - creating beautiful bokeh and a soft feeling. The softness is also created from the vintage lens - pentacon

There was a plan. Briefly. #Bumblebee #Details #Summer #Pink #Insect #Nature #Flower #Bee #Photography #InsectThursday #ColorADay

Bumble bee hanging on at the very tip of a hot pink butterfly bush (Buddleja). It is about to fall down and only hanging on with half of its legs. Very cute and endearing scene.

First post - latest photo. I found this gorgeous Dahlia in the Botanical garden in Haren, The Netherlands. Im such a sucker for droplets. #Dahlia #Macro #Photography #Flowers #Droplets #Canon

Big dinner plate red dahlia in bloom after rainfall with beautiful droplets. Photo displayed with shallow depth of field to really draw the viewer in and focus on the beautiful details
