The AI skins in the shop are actually different colours to the ones from the Friendship system.

That is true, it is false advertising. But consumers also have a due diligence to know what they're buying. If a tweet said one thing and the store said another, you shouldn't assume the tweet was the correct one when making your purchase.

So don't get the new DLC. No one is forcing you to. I only bought the Mega Man pack for Year 1 and the game didn't explode. Could even still race the DLC tracks I didn't buy in online mode.

You were told the Digital Deluxe Edition would get you access to the Season Pass, not all future paid DLC. You got the Season Pass in its entirety.

At no point was it ever stated or implied that beam sabers didn't exist until the X series. And this isn't actually a Saber, it's a midair application of his Proto Strike. He's swinging a short range energy burst from his Buster.

Metal Gear Solid would be another bad example cause it's largely just Metal Gear 2 in 3D. Mario 64 would work better, but it'd need to be acknowledged that Nintendo would eventually abandon the formula of 64 to make games more in line with SMB3 instead (NSMB series and 3D Land/World).

I'm not sure that's the most accurate comparison. OoT didn't reinvent Zelda, but merely transitioned the formula of prior games like ALttP and LA to 3D. Legends, compared to prior titles, was practically Mega Man in name only, even changing genres to being an action RPG.

While fans view classic as just another subseries in the larger Mega Man franchise, Capcom actually views classic Mega Man as mainline Mega Man, with everything else as a spin-off. With the franchise in its current state, they probably feel it makes more sense to update the mainline than a spin-off.

You'd be correct. Shout Factory, owners of TokuSHOUTsu, are a US-based company that normally only operates in the US and Canada. The fact they streamed Zeztz in the UK, Australia and New Zealand as well was really stretching themselves as is. More than that probably wasn't feasible.

Maybe Toei has plans because they lost Shout as a NA/UK/AU/NZ licensor. Radial has been gutting Shout, TokuSHOUTsu is just one casualty of that. Not only does TokuSato get to keep Zeztz, they're also getting My-th. Same with Ani-One and most of the Zeztz licensors. Only Shout's been dropped. Why?

Shout's license for the show was probably just for one year and the new owners didn't want to renew. Today is the one year anniversary of Zeztz's premiere, so the timing lines up.
