Puolamäen tutkimuksen ytimessä on se, miten koneoppimismalleja voidaan tehdä ymmärrettäviksi, miten niiden epävarmuuksia voidaan arvioida ja miten tutkija voi käyttää niitä uuden tiedon löytämiseen.
