...and the chant for Delicate. The seats were great -- lower bowl center -- and we exchanged friendship bracelets with the couple from Alabama who sat next to us and who were also winners in the CapitalOne giveaway. It was my mom's first stadium concert and she loved it!

My mom lives in the Bay Area and loves music, so I decided to bring her to the Santa Clara show! Her coworkers were so jealous! I ordered merch, got some custom friendship bracelets on Etsy, sent her a playlist for prep, and saved notes on my phone to help cue her in for the Cruel Summer bridge...

At first I wasn't sure whether to resell my Foxborough ticket but the ever wise @filmgirl.bsky.social quickly convinced me to keep it and go to both shows, which was of course the right decision. 😁 At Foxborough, a nearby Swiftie graciously noticed me struggling to take a selfie and helped me out:

I spent the week hyping myself up for it and telling all my friends, and then literally one day before my show I opened up my email to find this. Incredulous, I scrutinized the email to rule out a phishing scam but soon realized I had won two tickets to a show later that summer!

What a great way to watch Wimbledon!

Just got a robot pool vacuum that hooks up to the pool pump and doesn't require any additional power! It just uses *MATH* (different gears on each tread, turned by the flow of water into the pump) to do a random walk and it even climbs the walls!

A pool vacuum robot doing a random walk across the bottom of my swimming pool. The bottom of the pool is pretty dirty, so the robot is leaving a trail of clean floor behind it! To the side you can see that the robot's hose is attached to the intake in the skimmer basket.

Swifties: on Twitter it looks like @SpeakUpNow_13 was tempbanned for, and deleted, tweets bringing attention to Matty Healy's history of hate/racism/misogyny #SpeakUpNow More info in this reddit 🧵: www.reddit.com/r/TaylorSwift/commen…

Dear Taylor,

As concerned fans, we are writing to express our disappointment regarding recent events.

You've been recently seen and have welcomed to your stage Matty Healy, the frontman of The 1975. He has been involved in acts and controversies that deeply trouble us.

From engaging in racist remarks, making offensive jokes, and admitting to watching degrading pornography in which people of color are being humiliated and assaulted, his actions contribute to the perpetuation of hate, stereotypes, and objectification, which targets and hurts some people from the Jewish, Black, Chinese, Hawaiian, Inuit, LGBTQ+ communities, as well as women.

While individuals have the right to make their own choices and form relationships, we believe that it is essential for those in the public eye to take a stand against discrimination and hold themselves and their associates accountable.

#SpeakUpNow
@SpeakUpNow_13

Your voice holds tremendous power and right now your silence is palpable. This silence sends a message of indifference, particularly to the fans who have supported you.

Racism, anti-Semitism, and any form of discrimination have no place in our society. As fans, we believe in the power to inspire positive change, promote inclusivity, and educate others. Staying silent about actions that perpetuate hatred and contribute to systemic oppression undermines the progress that was made towards equality and understanding.

We urge you to reflect on the impact of your own and your associates' behavior and engage in genuine self-reflection. True change requires more than a simple apology; it necessitates a commitment to education, unlearning harmful beliefs, and actively dismantling systems of oppression that perpetuate racism and discrimination.

Open dialogue with the communities affected by these actions is crucial. Listen to their experiences, learn from their perspectives, and amplify [...]

We believe in the capacity for growth and transformation. By acknowledging this letter, demonstrating genuine remorse, and committing to personal growth and education, you have the opportunity to make amends and contribute positively to society.

Use your platforms responsibly and intentionally. Advocate for indlusivity, celebrate diversity, and promote empathy and understanding. Challenge harmful ideologies and inspire your followers to join you in creating a more just and equitable world.

Change takes time, but we hope to see you actively engage in this process of personal and social transformation. Let this be the turning point where you become a force for positive change and a catalyst for healing.

Sincerely,
Your fans
