Doing the paralogue with the weird snakes with Dietrich now and this is so much easier, I turned off the exp modifiers a few chapters in cause they felt pretty absurd but it's still hard to not overlevel Dietrich when his duel quests give him like 2 levels each lol

Since ppl are talking abt random encounters: I see a lot of people citing resource management as a case for them, and I agree, but tbf I think a LOT of rpgs give you so many healing items the resource limitations feel trivial anyways Like have you ever had to leave an octopath dungeon to restock?

Leda only gets access to few paralogues but 3 of them were really good and one of them (it's a defend map in a cave) was so easy it felt intentionally designed to give you some easy exp, it was the last one I did and after the other 3 I was like ??????
