I'm excited to make art that I care about, and share it with the people I care about as well.

Icebrrgh @icebrrgh.otter-space.com · 12h

NOW hopefully, when I get back into working, I won't stress out about numbers, or value of time spent ect. ect. but, uh, we'll see really! that's my hope.

Basically put myself on hold to give myself a damn break, almost done playing through and completing control resonant (goty btw) and it's been insanely helpful for me, I just needed to let myself enjoy something, and now i'm more inspired than ever to actually make stuff, I want to create art.

There was a twitter post that kinda went viral, and it helps, knowing that there are people who agree that the kind of "art" i'm making deserves to exist just because I want to make it. People will gravitate if they want it, but that can't be the reason i'm making it.

Anyways, update on the video, i'm trying to create it for myself, pretty much accepting that people won't inherently gaf about it, but having this desire to create regardless of that because I care. If you don't watch it, fine! if you watch it, I hope my enjoyment comes through, my love, ect ect.

I don't mean to vent, but if anywhere is to do it it's here, I just want support from the people who have been able to crack the code of not caring what other people think about, well, everything really.

LIke i'm motivated for art, but I also hate my body, and myself more than ever, feeling like i'll never be truly happy, because my happiness is conditional to what other people view me as. It sucks, I want to just make things for me, be me for me, but it just feels like an impossibility.

Feeling motivated but probably also the most dysphoric i've felt in a long time, fun life is a game of buffs and debuffs but THEY CANCEL OUT WHEN I GET MULTIPLE AT A TIME.

Hopefully, I'll be able to consolidate, bring people in that might help make things more manageable, eventually! If I want to make YouTube videos more professionally

I need to realize that my art, my videos, streams, ect have no expectations of being out, especially if it comes at the expense of my mental health. The video will be ready when it's ready, and I'm sorry that it's taken so long

I mean, a lot of it comes to layoffs, and them doing a lot of experimentation with ai (that hasn't effected the game yet) And yeah, it is important to let people know, but when it's done in public, like under someones art piece it just creates an undue hostility and almost expects people to react

WOW that put every single thought I had finally onto paper, because it's so prevalent here on bluesky, and I just could never articulate why that feels so frustrating without seeming like an idiot who confidently says the wrong thing

I'm so sorry that I haven't been streaming and this video has been in the works for like 37 years now, I wish I wasn't just one person but I am. I hope you know that this is all a labor of love. I really hope I can finish soon, I just need to push through, but I want to make it great.
