Act 2 of Fortune's Weave is more like classic Fire Emblem, I guess. It's a nice change of pace, but I wouldn't want the whole game to be like this. The difficulty spike feels just right as well. I am actually having to think now, but the levels aren't so difficult that I'm crashing out. I like it.

I won't say much about act 2, but damn, it is insane so far. They ramped everything up, including the difficulty. The moment I saw this mini map, I knew I needed to lock the fuck in.

That's act 1 of Theodora's route done. I'd give it a solid 8. Not quite as good as act 1 of Three Houses, which I feel had a lot more iconic maps; whereas only the last map was very iconic here. Regardless, Theodora herself is the iconic one here, and her arc has been beautiful so far. #FEFW

Adding to this, but god damn, it's really bad. In Three Houses, even when I recruited someone out of their house, I feel like I still got plenty of supports for them. I was unlocking them all the time. But 25 hours into Fortune's Weave, I have watched somewhere between 5-10 support conversations.

I see people already finishing act 1 of Fortune's Weave and alternating to different routes, and here I am on chapter 11. I've decided to just stick with Theodora for now though. Don't feel like having a 100+ hour playthrough tbh.

I knew Fortune's Weave having a bloated cast of playable units would be a bad thing. Now it means many characters get hardly any support conversations. Hard to have everyone converse with lots of people when the cast is so big. So many characters who only have supports with a handful of people.

Okay, the dungeons can actually be quite fun to explore. Very diverse, with many more open ones, so not all traditional "dungeons". The only part I don't like is the turn based battles. They are so braindead and boring. Started skipping over them the moment I found out I could.
