Are also part of why it can’t spread very far without animal carriers and basic public health. It doesn’t have a long incubation period and when people are at their most infectious they’re usually already in a hospital or on their deathbed.

That’s not necessarily an adaption thing? Bacteria are just orders of magnitude larger than viruses are, makes sense they can’t travel as easily. The bigger thing making the plague not a big deal is the same things that make it severe to us (horrible symptoms and massive mortality rate)

Something we need to get serious about with the recent stock issues is that absolutely no one should be buying individual vials. Brewing vials is easy, the shipping is the hard part. You put far less strain on brewers by buying 3 vials every 2 years than buying 1 vial every 9 months.
