Got my COVID and Flu shots yesterday after work. It seemed like a good idea to get them out of the way as Flu Season approaches and our social calendar start to populate. I’m feeling pretty good considering the double whammy, but am certainly not 100% at the moment. Hope y’all have a great weekend!

Marilyn Manson announced One Assassination Under God: Volume 2 today. Several variants of the album on colored vinyl are out there, many already sold out. What fascinated me was this box set with the album on four 7” records, CD, and cassette with five prints of Brian’s unreleased watercolors.

I secured tickets for us to see Blue October on their FOILED 20th Anniversary world tour through their fan presale a couple weeks ago. They’re playing FOILED in its entirety front-to-back along with a collection of songs from throughout their career. Something to look forward to in early 2027!

Took me a week to finish Dungeon Crawler Carl Book 8: A Parade of Horribles. It was amazing and perfectly sets up the final 6 floors. Love how Matt brought everything together at the end— and Chapter 57 was incredible! Bittersweet though, as book 9 feels so far away now. #DungeonCrawlerCarl

I had a great weekend at home after being on the run for a couple weekends. Star Wars Nite at Disneyland and a trip home for Mother’s Day. Feels like there’s so much going on these days. I would have loved to have done more with my time off, but sometimes, a whole lot of nothing is good too!

I had the best time at Disneyland/DCA over the last few days hanging with my favorite humans for a getaway that encapsulated Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite. It was our fourth year going, and each year has been somehow similar, yet totally different. My heart is full, and I am truly grateful!

I finished The Eye of The Bedlam Bride on my way up north to spend Christmas with my mom. It was pretty great as it resolved a couple of storylines and brings some new ones down to the 9th floor at the close of the story. This Inevitable Ruin gives us Faction Wars and is off to a swell start!

The Butcher’s Masquerade truly keeps the excitement alive in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. It delivered on all fronts! I’m a few chapters into Book Six: The Eye of the Bedlam Bride, and though I have no idea where it’s heading, I’m completely invested in the story.
