I switched bathrooms after about the third time someone walked in and saw me washing my hands and apologized and left before coming back in awkwardly a few seconds later. In the end those weren't a big deal but I'm just trying to pee, not create awkward social interactions for random dudes

I think 12 is good, Miami and Notre Dame made runs that made it worthwhile, if it were up to me I'd just push it to 16 so more G6 teams could get bids

My grandmother spent her last 20 years as a volunteer for the South Carolina Democratic Party so in her honor BLUEOTH CAROLINA LET'S GO

To me the difference is mainly that even Republicans are going like "yeah we've got no shot in NC or GA, we should focus our money on like Kansas"

010

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13h

Sure I was just being a little extra for the bit, I don't mind there being at large bids, I just think it's more fun if like UMass gets to take a run at Alabama every year in the first round, rather than having 12 Auburn at Michigan games

110

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 14h

I really think they should do what basically every other sport does and give an auto bid to every conference champ, I don't really care about at large bids, if you wanna dance, win your conference

It shouldn't even be that provocative to say kids should allow to play sports in whichever group they feel more comfortable in, like I don't even care if a cis boy feels safer playing on the girls team, why not let that happen if they're not being a jerk

"My not being a slaver will do nothing to destroy the institution of slavery" hot damn I didn't know we had modern trans girl Robert E Lee's out here

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 19h

I gotta say, "The AI is alive and I'm a slave owner and I'm okay with it and I'll keep using it" was not something I expected to see, god that takes some mental gymnastics

The AI is alive and it works for Nintendo and it told me there's going to be a Mario MMO any day now

I'm actually not sure I can easily answer this, it was just something I knew I needed to do for like years

Why do we even bother making body horror movies when people will just inflict it on trans people so they can save a few dollars

040

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I'll be very concerned once Claude Opus or whatever trillion parameter model that needs TBs of RAM just to run can replicate itself to like... toasters... any day now

050

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I guess that would track, I've gotten Android handhelds from Ayn and Retroid that didn't have roms, and handhelds with custom linux versions from miyoo and anbernic that did have roms on them

010

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I guess they might've changed their policy, when I got an RG35XXSP it came with basically every game anyone had ever heard of from N64 and before

000

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

020

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Yeah I think there's a few resellers that give you a special sd card with extra roms too

030

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I don't really care that they're doing that tbh, just makes them more likely to get caught and banned

My new business idea of Stadia on AI chips is a surefire hit

030

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

Anbernic absolutely ships things preloaded with pirated roms, at least AYN and Retroid don't do that direct and obvious crime

130

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I think it's less likely to try to force you to use ai like windows and Mac do now, but yeah it seems like the code is at least somewhat ai generated now...

It's really not hard to just not use things, I stopped using Twitter in like 2020 or so, I don't use insta or facebook or tiktok at all, I'm only really here because it's got trans people and sportsball posting...

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Finding ways to lose games that seem winnable? being a decent franchise but never quite getting to the top? That's Panthers shit, or I guess it's Falcons shit that the Panthers joined in on

020

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Maybe it's because my team is an expansion team from the 90s or something but I don't really have anything against other NFC South teams, like I feel like the Falcons are basically just the Panthers but older

120

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

So what I've learned so far: It's a lot less finnicky than the HTC Vive I played with like a decade ago, the battery life isn't great, I have the red lines on my face from playing it for the length of it's battery life, but Beat Saber is in fact pretty fun

020

Spooky Neighborhood Spider-Menace @icanfly42.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
