Meta is limiting posts with links on Facebook for free? Yeah, that platform is dying anyway. I'm not giving you money for that, Zuck.

This week's pose is Tammi Terrell's Irresistible. I don't like to panel break often. I like gutters, and traditionally clean pages. But every now and then I get a fun idea. More than the panel break itself I like the final 3 panels cascading as they are. Read more: www.brasscomics.com/funktastic/

This page is probably my favorite in all of The Funktastic Adventure! The characters are all just being who they truly are in a page that feels like a complete vertical slice of the comic! Read more: www.brasscomics.com/funktastic/

Throughout this flashback arc I wanted to make sure the ancestor character that have prominent roles have their own personalities. Except Mr. Bills. I just wanted to write Mr. Bills again. Read more: www.brasscomics.com/uppity

1 of the themes I'm playing around with in this Civil War era flashback arc is how the institution of slavery only existed to benefit the wealthy. Jerry's brother Joe falling for Mr. Bill's sweet words of liberty, but Jerry himself? I wonder what he's thinking. Read more: www.brasscomics.com/uppity

I wasn't planning on having an ancestor of Upton appear in this flashback, but when writing this gag it felt a joke I'd write for Upton. Milton here is a little different from his 2xgreat-grandson, but you'll see there's a few similarities. www.brasscomics.com/uppity/

Another comic convention done, another several hundred dollars down the hole. I'm gonna table the ones I've already paid for then I'm sticking with zine and small press shows from now on. Comic cons simply don't work for what I'm selling ironically.

The hardest part of maintaining a buffer for my wecomic is having all this stuff that I'm not showing yet. I want to show off everything! I want to share! But I must be disciplined...

I was venting this feeling to some people today, and they were afraid I was getting discouraged and would leave comics. Hell no! I LOVE MAKING COMICS! But as a person who only want to put their comics on their tables; I don't like comic cons.

These shows often require their hefty payment half a year in advanced. Money is flexible. While those funds are tied up in an investment I often barely make back (if even) I could be using them for more comics, merch, and signage for the type of shows that do work for me or advertising my webcomic.

While I'm spending 3 days praying to make my table cost back I'm thinking, "I was selling my books at a coffee shop and comic store last week, where I sold more and had more fun."

I've been reusing designs for this flashback arc, but for Big Joe’s great-grand uncle I wanted a more unique design. Whereas our Big Joe is more massive and round; for the past Big Joe I went for chiseled features and an emphasized Dorito shape. Read Uppity and more: bit.ly/3UoRcbU

When I designed those cop characters a 2 arcs ago I thought They looks so funny! I have to use them again! This is perfect role for them as modern American policing has its roots in the slave catchers and overseers. Read Uppity and more: bit.ly/3UoRcbU Support Funktastic: bit.ly/4y93Fix

I know looking youthful is admired but I'm getting a little tired of edging to my 40s and people thinking I'm in my 20s. EVEN A KID AT WORK YESTERDAY WAS SURPRISED, AND THEY USUALLY THINK YOU'RE A MILLION YEARS OLD.
