The Morecambe effect. Both the Morecambe and the Brigg line are just over 70 miles long. Both have a PTE covered area, Both connect with a mainline enroute, Lancaster for WCML, Retford for ECML Morecambe Line 5 round trips Monday to Saturday, 4 on a Sunday Brigg Line 1 round trip Mon to Fri.

Major disruption in the North West due to a power outage, is causing issues on TPE services on the Sheffield to Cleethorpes section. If only there was another line with a proper service to connect Sheffield with North Lincolnshire for passenges to use. 🤔 #briggline
