So I've been in therapy for a little over a year, working to come to terms with my emotionally unavailable mother. I accept that she will never be there for me. BUT I'm going through a tough time right now so when she asked "how are things?" I was honest. That's on me, I guess 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I'm already perking up. I have the same reaction to the COVID shot every time - 36 hours of feeling like hot garbage, and then a switch flips, and I'm instantly 100%. It's so predictable at this point that I just schedule time off around it 😂
