There's a game idea I have but I don't have the experience to build it and it can get messy 🤣. Imagine sims (literally) but we all have our account connected and use our identities.

That's one of the things that excites me about AT Protocol. Not every app has to become a social network of its own. They can do completely different things and still participate in the same wider world. I'm really curious to see what that looks like as the Atmosphere grows.

And I think things like this could give the skyline some fresh energy too. People arguing about a final game, laughing about a score, calling someone out for a rematch, communities competing with each other. Just more things for people to actually do together and talk about.

Then you can start doing things like community tournaments and competitions across different apps. Maybe one community challenges another. Maybe an app runs a tournament for its users. Maybe your wins and achievements show up somewhere completely different from where you earned them.

What I'm really excited to see is what happens when other apps start plugging into things like this. Imagine a community on another app wants to run a game night. Their users play the games on Skycave, and Skycave can send the results back in a way that their app understands.

I've been experimenting with that on Skycave. Defining lexicons around games, match results, achievements, challenges, tournaments etc, because I don't want a player's entire gaming history to exist only inside Skycave's database.

I keep thinking about what the Atmosphere would look like when it's not mostly social apps anymore. What happens when we have games, music, books, commerce and all sorts of other apps here, but they can still understand and interact with each other?
