i DID get it back running again. i suspect a fuel regulator fault of some kind. it was making a humming sound with ignition on, and the car started after I fiddled around with the plug going into it.

as much as it seems like it's the perfect sim for me, i do love those old cars that have been shown, i won't be touching it out of principle. that and i already blew my money on the nearly identical AMS2 DLC (which is amazing fun if you haven't tried)

It was ridiculous. A lot of the crimped & messy wires ended up going to the heater and fan switches, eventually found the ones I needed for the head unit & now it all works! ...except now I found that my automatic antenna doesn't extend and retract itself. traded one problem for another

I got the cheaper Bilstein option, supposedly match the OEM ride, and my aim for this car is originality. Should be putting them in this saturday, whole rear end is coming out for bushings pretty much so hopefully I can get it all done.

bewildered by it. would be less surprising if their EV platforms worked well, but so far the Taycan, whilst nice to drive, suffers many issues. And the Macan is just bad. Their hybrid powertrains are really nice too which makes it even weirder - I enjoy the 911 T-Hybrid and Cayenne e-Hybrid a lot.

oh man, that 95 must be amazing to own. my 900 is my first saab, and it's such an incredibly special feeling. looking into the yard and seeing it fills me with joy not quite like any other cars i've had. driving it is a blast too, though i haven't done much since it's unregistered for the moment.

felt on the OT. i just bought mine, ordered shocks and bushings with my entire last paycheck once they arrive should be good for inspection and registration. The little driving i've done in it has been an absolute joy, they are wonderful cars

air jail saab needs 4 new shocks (kind of already guessed that) and bushings for the torsion beam, then should be ready for inspection and registration!! was worried about a coolant leak but the tank level has stayed put for a few days, and a few hundred kms.

I GOT MY SAAAAAAAAB!!!!!!!!!!!!! it has hubcaps but they need new clips, they will fall off otherwise. mechanically sound, survived a 2.5hr journey with 0 hiccups. and i smiled the entire way still need practice finding 3rd, its not quite in the centre of travel but its also closer to 5 than 1

ideas are hard/impossible for me. I can create when prompted, like my iRacing livery commissions, though I struggled with that when people weren't specific enough. Following a repair manual for a car at work, or figuring out my own way with my own cars and electronics is much easier mentally

not a pre facelift, brain is lagging hard. enjoy the incredible 8v sound (ft. horrific wind noise) as compensation needs some electrical attention before registration (high beams dont work) and will be replacing the cracked dashboard & some plastic trim. otherwise decent condition, no rust either.
