In its report, the Group concluded that human rights violations perpetrated by Belarusian State institutions throughout the criminal justice process have not been isolated, but systematic across all stages of the process. The judiciary played a key role in maintaining the system of repression.

We celebrate the release of 250 Belarusian prisoners — including our colleagues Valiantsin Stefanovich and Marfa Rabkova, and rights defender Nasta Loika — while concerned about the conditions of their release. They were among 15 individuals deported to Lithuania, raising the risk of forced exile.
