Im heading to #EdFringe this weekend for a week, and I’m particularly keen to see solo-performed theatre pieces. Not monologues, I’m looking for innovative storytelling, multi-roling, use of sound and music perhaps Any recommendations out there? #TheatreSky

This is so sad. Hounded to death by the media? Looks that way. Two kids just lost their daddy. When will we ever learn?

I’m hatching a story that is set at a single menhir deep within a forest. I’ve been brewing it for about 15 months now. This menhir - about 40mins drive from where we’re staying is exactly what I imagined for the story. It was kinda magical to be here. #playwright #standingstone #nature
Ian sits at the foot of large standing stone - a menhir - in the Carnac region of France. The stone is set in the middle of a forest and has stood there for many thousands of years.

When we first moved in together we lived in Coulsden, Surrey. One morning there was a knock on the door - a journalist from the Daily Mail. She told us that the daughter of our neighbour, Meredith Kercher, had been murdered and asked what we could tell her about the family.

I know he has a lot on, but in the midst of a ferocious drought, fires, heat events and severe threats to food production, it would be quite edifying to hear Andy Burnham mention climate breakdown.

An exciting day ahead. Queer Britain - the UKs national LGBTQ+ museum - are preparing an exhibition about Conversion Therapy- which will include Locusts, the play I co-wrote based on my experiences. I’m heading there now with a bag full of memorabilia and a warm fuzzy glow in me.

Today I’m a silent protest at the CofE Synod. There was a fringe event promoting conversion therapy and I’m sharing my story with anyone curious about my t-shirt. The overwhelming majority are supporting my position. A few have tried to equate abuse to a theological argument. Nope.

We just looked to book tickets for Inter Alia - a play in London, and was horrified at the prices. This photo is from the booking site. @nationaltheatre.org.uk these prices are obscene. How is theatre for the masses when shows are priced like this? Elitist, exclusivist, and appalling.
Prices for Inter Alia in London ranging from £146 to £333

Beautiful from Private Eye on the massive toddler-tantrum that Matt Goodwin and Reform are having, because they got whooped in Gorton and Denton.
Reform fury as someone else wins
by Our By-election Editor
Tim Shipsink
The losing candidate in the Gorton and Denton by-election, Matt Goodwhinge, has demanded an immediate re-run of the election on the grounds that he lost
comprehensively to someone else.
"It's totally unfair and rigged,"
said Goodwhinge.
"I shouldn't
be required to sit there and suck it up, just because I lost."
Mr Goodwhine continued, *I can't believe that all those voters I demonised failed to back me.
Especially after I was endorsed by Tommy Robinson and ten million Russian bots on X.
"We have clear evidence of family voting, where people voted in order for me to stop deporting their families."
Mr Badloser concluded. "I'm the victim of colour prejudice.
They didn't vote for me simply because I'm not green."
Reform leader
Mr Farage,
speaking from a sun lounger on a rock near the Chagos Islands said,
"It's a tragedy that the people of Manchester won't see Matt in Westminster, but my constituents don't see me in Clacton either."

PLUMBER DEFEATS
