From what I understand about the only thing he’s good at is sharing unsolicited pictures of his dick which led to him being booted out of the Tory Party. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

To quote Gladstone - she’s a sophistical rhetorician, inebriated with the exuberance of her own verbosity, and gifted with an egotistical imagination that can at all times command an interminable and inconsistent series of arguments to malign an opponent and to glorify himself.

When high streets are dominated by chains you’ll always be disappointed - it’s as if they take our custom for granted. Contrast that with towns like Totnes that offer a high street full off independent shops and cafes. Simply wonderful places to browse and spend while supporting the local economy.

‘…multifaceted’. ‘…unilaterally’. Sorry, Barbie, using long words doesn’t disguise either your sycophancy or your bullshit.

I get the scrutiny of the Greens with their flaky leader and the entryists who perceive his populism will align with their hard left agenda. Why the same level of scrutiny isn’t applied to the awful Badenoch and her lurch to the right is beyond me. She’s far more dangerous and deluded than Polanski.

Yep - they have the excuses ready so instigating a complaint is a complete waste of time. Sadly, I can’t see things changing anytime soon - OFCOM isn’t fit for purpose and Lisa Nandy seems unwilling to grasp the nettle.

Excuse my French but this obvious bias is fucking relentless. People are becoming inured to it but that doesn’t make it any less unpalatable. Surely someone at the BBC must realise that any apparent bias undermines its integrity and, for a national broadcaster funded by its audience, is untenable.

I'll give you a fact.. you're an ignorant cunt whom I'll no longer indulge. Take your ridiculous opinions and stick 'em up your arse.

Ian St James @ianstjames.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
You can, like Polanski, live in your fantasy world. But you’re so consumed by the validity of your opinion you’re ignoring the facts. Don’t take my word for it, look at the polling or the commentators who once had a positive disposition towards him but are now starting to question his leadership.

Ian St James @ianstjames.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Whatever. However, the polling and the political narrative suggest the Greens’ momentum has stalled and that Polanski is increasingly seen as a liability.

I’m not applying any logic, I’m simply sharing an overview from the Guardian. But to say ‘Burnham’s position looks untenable’ is a bit of a stretch. Mind you I’m not a psephologist and I’m guessing, from your comment, neither are you.

Ian St James @ianstjames.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
I think were slowly making waves would be more accurate. Under Polanski’s leadership there’s been a lack of direction with the entryists seeming to drive the agenda. They need a reset which sets out a raft of policies based around core values rather than populism. If not it’s back to square one.

Ian St James @ianstjames.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Here’s a short analysis taken from the Guardian. The 8,928 votes cast for Polanski compared to the nearly 11,350 his party + independent candidate Andrew Feinstein received in 2024 suggests the Greens have not significantly grown their base of voters in the constituency. Are you on drugs?

I think we should ask David Williamson for the evidence that justifies his puerile positing. Or is he just a puppet journalist who writes what the owners tell him 🤔

To suggest Mike Collins is an incoherent, dissembling cretin is the most flattering description I can come up with.

What Murdoch wants, Murdoch gets. We all know what’s going on - give the Tories an easy ride because the MSM, the owners (and complicit journos and editors) want a govt that is on the side of the rich, the privileged and the entitled. And they have to convince the rest of us that’s what we want too.

Why embarrass yourself by posting your intention to vote for a flaky gobshite? Whatever your opinion of Starmer, he never promised women bigger tits, said he’d been a Red Cross spokesman, told folk he worked at the Ministry of Justice, or claimed his ancestors fled the Nazis. Wake the fuck up!

Burnham a con man? I don’t recall him promising women bigger tits; pretending he was a Red Cross spokesman; telling folk he worked at the Ministry of Justice; or claiming his ancestors fled the Nazis. Polanski is a flaky fantasist lacking intellect and integrity. The sooner he’s gone the better.

More Burgum bunkum and bollocks.

Ian St James @ianstjames.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
Who writes this bollocks? Is it that journalistic standards have fallen so far or, when it comes to political content, the owners dictate what is written to support their own agenda. I wonder who owns The Times 🤔

Apart from being an utter cunt, Clarkson is nothing more than a relentless attention seeker. One can only watch and wonder why the media continues to indulge him. Is he funny? No. Entertaining? Nope. Does he have compelling insights to offer us? Yet another no. It’s simply all about ME, ME, ME.

I’m no fan of Ferrari but on this occasion he was he was asking perfectly legitimate questions. We all know Farage is a fascist fraud and Lowe a far right agitator. Badenoch is the Leader of His Majesty’s Official Opposition. The fact she’s unable to answer them shows she’s simply not up to the job.

…giving her a hard time’? He’s asking perfectly legitimate questions that any normal Party leader would be able to answer, particularly one who’s gone in so hard on defence. She’s so blinded by her arrogance, she has absolutely no comprehension of how staggeringly incompetent she is.

A few calming and reassuring words delivered with a smile would surely have deescalated the situation. He had a fucking cutlery knife for God’s sake. Two morons, completely unfit to be police officers, turned a minor drama into a full blown crisis. How they were cleared of assault is way beyond me.

It seems they’ve also returned to Whitby and Scarborough where, in the interwar years, and driven by massive shoals of herring in the North Sea, the towns became hotspots for tuna fishing. Hollywood stars, including John Wayne, Errol Flynn, Clark Gable, and David Niven, went along for the sport.

Oh, I forgot tonmention that Sarah Elliott is also chairwoman of Republicans Overseas UK. Just might explain her portraying Donald Trump as ‘authentic’ and ‘a businessman’. Sorry #politicslive - I think you need to be more accurate when describing the roles of your guests.
