made friends with clement at comic-con, a sunny frenchman who loves GTAV. he asked for a selfie, so i gave him my rockstar hat and now he's traveling the world and sending photos of him wearing it. it is the BEST!

I get to accept the award for him! And the next night my short documentary about him will premiere in it's very own panel! HOOHAH!

cole escola is the best 'i knew them when' of my life so far

my messy brooklyn desk in 2008: stacks of residuals from a domino's commercial, spare boxes of the cake my spot advertised, and the original "jeffery & cole casserole" drawing by cole, which jeffery left at my house while we were dating. i later had it framed and returned it to jeffery. always loved cole's cartoons.

young cole and young ian at some industry mixer. i think that's jeffery's shirt i am sweating through. there wasn't ever a moment i hung out with cole where i didn't tell them how excited i was to see them become an enormously celebrated star. my heart bursts for them! YES!!!

Happy 93rd birthday to one of the best friends I've ever had the pleasure to know, the legendary Angelo Torres! I took the first pic at the MAD offices on a disposable camera when i was 13 in 1994, and the second pic is from last year. Congrats, Old Twig!
