VAR has to be scrapped. It's literally never been used as it's intended purpose of being there to help referees as an aid. Now we have officials in person correctly giving decisions being overuled by blokes sat in an office and then hours later admit they got it wrong. VAR was supposed to help make

Now that tuchels made his excuses for not playing mainoo. The lad should simply tell him where to go for Saturdays match. There's having honour of representing your country & there is your summer being wasted by a manager who had no intention of playing him.Don't even think that changes in the future

England really need to try to minimise crosses and giving away set pieces in the 2nd half. I know the tactics have to be the same again . Keep it tight again till the next break and then try and pick them off for the third goal.

Not entirely sure why Paraguay played themselves into the disgrace that they became today after how to played vs Germany. Part maybe down to simply how weak the referee was & they thought they would get away with it time & time again( they did). In the end they conceded the penalty because they

All three french goals are great goals on their own merits but Sweden have barely laid a glove on France in all aspects of the match. In this 2nd half they have barely made anything hard for the french. #WC2026

And then they loose on pens for the 1st time in World Cup history. Not so surprisingly though Shearer goes flip flopping his opinions as usual.

Is the ruled out goal for Germany going to turn out to be their lampard moment. Although if that happens Alan Shearer might be the most annoyed person in the Stadium

Don't need to be that good . Panama and Ghana have caused enough chances to be worried about with this defence.

The Scots must think it's Christmas the amount of gifts they have given out here. Got away with the 2nd being ruled out but before the 1st goal. Scotland's game plan of keeping the ball and passing it round looked good.

As anyone else figured out what the pitch is meant to be under the studio floor on the bbc's world cup coverage ? The camera angle make a point of showing it but it just seems really odd.

It's going to be such a disappointment when you tune into one of the games in America to watch loads of locals in kits that have no relation to the teams playing and a crap atmosphere.

You have to say they have scored two decent goals that deserve to win a final but I don't think that's the end of the goals.

It might appear that the club has a new youth policy after the end of season lap of appreciation Seem to just be getting to players to produce the next generation of players.Think they might need to spend some more time at Carrington next season cos they clearly have been enjoying thier time at home

Bayern looked after they didn't want to score a third after conceding have a feeling they may come to regret that next week. Madrid weren't great at taking thier chances either but if they had of been or turn it on next week. A one goal lead likely won't be enough.

This was our biggest downfall. Not making them pay for being down to ten. The pedestrian pace we play football is so frustrating more so when quick intense passing is what would have moved them round . Tired them out an possibly created the spaces to pass balls in behind their back line.

Need to start looking after the ball better more so against this ten men. Really making them look like they aren't a player down.

Man of the match was Lammens . Superb saves and coped really well with the stupid (Anti football ) tactics of Everton. So glad we got one of our counter attacks right and Sesko finished it superbly !!

It's a non-apology. Is there an alternative motive behind this ? Beyond this being wider than Manchester United, is his aim by making such statements actually to try & further create division & fractions amongst Utd's fanbase ? Is this his way at hitting back at being called a C**t from the terraces

Might want to concentrate on his failing businesses instead of making stupid remarks about a country he's abandoned to avoid paying tax here more so when said failing businesses have received a government bailout to the tune of £120m+. He could end up failing at United too.

Superb point . 3 shots in target . Shaw's Chance Casemiro's ruled out goal Sesko's goal. Could have been a lot easier if any of the 1st 2 count.

We will take the point but my god is was miles frustrating watching us bring on Sesko & Zirkzee, then didn't start trying to get crosses in until stoppage time. As soon as we did Zirkzee has a chance and Sekso pulls out that superb finish Yoro's two blocks from the counters was superb & vital really

Can't be the only one hoping Old Trafford turns up tomorrow. Never mind the players. Every single fan entering that ground should be willing to bring the noise and fight. Don't care if we make a mistake or aren't attacking .Need to leave the negativity outside & support the boys for the entire match

Fletcher's only real mistake tonight was simply not waiting a few minutes to do the subs after we had scored. I know he had to limit Bruno's minutes but we lost a lot of momentum & leadership when he's not on the pitch. The defensive change also maybe doesn't help either & we just needed to settle

The silly goal conceded was a combination of poor defending and a wicked deflection. Other than that we have had a goal ruled out and two goal line clearances. So its not all to bad. Just wished we actually played with some form of pace. Think it only takes a goal & the confidence will bring the win

Think this is a superb touch . The minutes applause for those who passed away in 2025 . West Ham did similar last night and at the start of a new year I think it's a class touch.

Sorry Crawley but that's simply brain dead. Why on earth would you think it's a good idea to be leaving any ball in Starcs first over ,let alone one that's shaping back into your pads. This England side should have been thinking we need to basically go out & survive till tea time tomorrow to draw

Silly wicket to give away by Brook within the 1st half an hour of play when he was in his 80s but Im not actually surprised. #TheAshes

England's top order fail pretty much any time they come up against a decent bowling unit. This ashes series has made that clear as day. Crawley has serveral weaknesses all you have to do find the one it is on that day & you get him out . Little bit of swing & that normally helps that happen earlier

Given how well Van Veen has played this championship and who he beat to get to the final I was expecting a competitive final but Littler is another level . How he gets any better I don't know but I'm sure he will find a way somehow he seems to just find a way 🎯🏆

Actually don't deserve to lose that. We were the better team for the majority of the match and villa got saved by Rogers. Bruno's injury is a worry but not as much as the absence of anyone to actually get past a man which was missing without mbuemo or amad. Martinez in the DM works as expected.

Wolves deserve that cos United are just constantly offering them the ball back in our own half. No idea from anyone to look like we actually want to attack and score goals.

Zirkzee with a great finish and gave a decent performance too . A much needed win after Everton. Need to take that same intensity and aggressive play into all our games. Old Trafford needs to actually support the players come Thursday too !!

As poor as the performance was on the pitch. OT as a ground full of fans played its part in that tonight. Barely any support for the lads on the pitch far too many bemoaning everthing that went wrong & have been spoilt with success to even know what it means to support your team isn't playing well.

You know what's the understatement of today's match just how much Lammens looked solid without after having to really pull off any decent saves. Yes they hit the bar 3 times but barring the isak chance he's didnt really get tested. He simply had to do the basics well and he did that. #UTFR

Good result tonight but next week we need to make Old Trafford a fortress of noise. We need to make sure their players know they aren't going to get a sniff to get back into the tie and we need to give our lads all the confidence and backing we can . #UTFR #MUFC
