Swings and roundabouts mate. I get much better, and faster, medical/dental care here than I did in the UK. Obv I’ve been lucky enough with employer insurance that taking tax/NI the cost was negligible.
Not everyone is so lucky, YMMV, and many other privilege-based disclaimers do apply, though.
