My sister lives in Dinno and there’s a proposed whopping solar farm built around near her. I saw the plan last time i was up. Better than an opencast coal mine. But then we wouldn’t have Anston Pit top (my old patch) and Orgreave.

We’re getting a huge solar farm built around our bit of Northants The local Facebook groups are going apoplectic. What will the farmers do (cash their cheques and live in the Bahamas🤷🏻‍♂️). Countryside will be wrecked (it’s more biodiverse than sprayed to death monocultures). #nimbyrage

3 Yank wader day. Bufftie at Framppers (was anticipating a dash in up to Gib point, but sort of glad the Bonellis hadn’t been seen). Curlew Sand, Spot Red also at Frampton. Rutland water had Lesser Yellowlegs and Pec on the same lagoon. So a good day💪 #ukbirding
