It's Friday, but because I had Monday Off and am at work tomorrow means I'm not going to a gig tonight, Cassidy Paris, if you must know, I'm at home in front of my HiFi with Trucker Diablo, not as loud as I would like but my deaf wife thinks it's too loud! If you like your rock loud

So I'm on annual leave, decided to travel to the Kent/East Sussex area, went to Rye, what a lovely little place, Hastings, will probably need investing, Camber has sand dunes, the pub is the one from the wall paper on Linux Mint, if you're that level of geek!

Armed Forces Day yesterday, a chance for my little town to celebrate and recognise the contribution and sacrifice the service personnel have given, unfortunately I was captivated I didn't photo too much, to prove it doesn't always rain in England/Britain, blue sky's, and volunteers on our Lifeboat

Sunny Sunday Morning, drinking coffee, reclining and just generally chilling, got Skynyrd's album 'Twenty' on, what an album, not going into any 'Tribute' debate, it's got Rossington, Medlocke and a Van Zant, still lighting a spotlight on social issues, but blimey, what an album.

Being a true Yorkshire man I am a little reluctant to splash the cash, but, sometimes, cash burns that hole in the pocket, so it was on payday I spent an inordinate amount of money on a new CD player, I know of course CDs are old hat, a has been technology, shh, has no one said it may be coming back

Not too sure about the support band, Florence Black, however, were brilliant, sound wise, less aggressive as Brum, but clearer.

Gonna try and document the years outings So it's a new year, so far quiet, only Airborne at Rock City, what a venue, Nottingham, what a place, tomorrow, a slight departure, Rhod Gilbert for some comedy. New gig booked, Florence Black in Edinburgh, should be an epic weekend

Sunday morning wake up call, today is 'Arriguts Asomvel,a young band with a massive and unapologetic Motorhead vib, so being a true Yorkshireman and one from the North Riding one feels compelled to support the local band and artists

First day of the new year, first album of the year, Fury's Interceptor, released last September, still as good as the first.

@xclassicrock.bsky.social so it's been a week now since my last gig of the year, been very busy but last week was the album launch of my mates band's second album, check out This House We Built's Get Out Of The Rain, however, and while brilliant, it isn't quite as good, IMI, as Fury's Interceptor.
