Originator unknown. Totally love his colleague's wicked sense of humour!
whyuhhhhhhhhhh

So last week, I noticed my coworker kept saying weird phrases in meetings.

Stuff like:
"We'l take this to the synergy zone."
"Let's triangle back on that."
"Put that in the idea fridge."
No one reacted.

Everyone just nodded like it was normal. I figured it was some corporate lingo I missed.

Day two, I hear: "We'll verticallize that bandwidth."

I write it down to Google later. Nothing.

By day three, I'm starting to use them, too. "Yeah, we should put that in the idea fridge." People nodded. I felt included.

Friday rolls around. He pulls me aside and goes: "I've been making them all up. No one knows what they mean."

HE GOT THE ENTIRE TEAM SAYING NONSENSE.

Even the manager threw out "triangle back" in a call.

Now the whole office is trapped in fake Jargon with no way out.

I respect it. I fear

I'm honestly offended by the audacity of my stomach growling with hunger when there's plenty of body fat sitting right in front of it for it to eat.

There are only two real possibilities to the incredibly rapid 180 degree turn that has occurred on Al development in the past couple of days:

1) The Al has told these billionaires that THEY are the problem that will be eliminated, and they are actually afraid for the first time in their lives.

2) The entire financial house of cards around Al is about to collapse and take them all down, along with most of the world's economies with it.

There is 0% chance these people are acting altruistically.

Social media has been awash with right-wing bots for a decade+. It's never left- wing bots. Bots made Brexit happen, got Trump elected, and Farage noticed. No-one has investigated who is paying for them. Social Media platforms don't want to admit half their active users are fake.

I genuinely have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a Lamborghini.

I want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a Monday...

sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon...

so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients...

spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget...

that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.

I'm convinced cars are so insultingly expensive now because manufacturers have completely lost the plot!!

I need my car to DRIVE.

I don't need a panoramic command center, biometric identification, ambient lighting that matches my menstrual cycle and a computer that requires a software update before I can turn the freakin air conditioner on.

Please, for the love of God just give me AC, Bluetooth, MAYBE a backup camera and an engine that doesn't DIE at 70,000 miles.

You built a vehicle. Stop adding unnecessary shit that's making them unaffordable...

I've reached the point - well actually, I reached it a while ago - where I'm militantly anti-Al. Fine - use it in bioscience labs and radiology where it might help analyse data more effectively. Use it sparingly for systems engineering. Everywhere else, it can fuck off.

For years - decades - we've been imploring people to save trees by using less paper, to conserve water by flushing less for urine than faeces, to save energy by switching off lightbulbs. This year, Europe roasted in unbelievably high temperatures. Glaciers collapse, disasters ensue. And then we're expected to ignore all that because we can make fun Al images and google can badly summarise Wikipedia. Seriously. Fuck off.

This by-election was supposed to justify the £5m. Farage wanted a fresh mandate, a thumping victory and a line he could use to dismiss the scandal,
Instead, the main parties stood aside and 9,455 people voted for a bin.
That's 26.7% of everyone who turned out. More than 1 in 4 voters.
He won the seat, obviously. But the great £5m vindication ended with nearly 10,000 of his own constituents choosing Count Binface. Humiliating.
This hasn't proved anything. Now comes the investigation!

Letter published in an unknown newspaper
No woman in a burqa (or a hijab or a burkini) has ever done me any harm. But I was sacked (without explanation) by a man in a suit. Men in suits missold me pensions and endowments, costing me thousands of pounds. A man in a suit led Us on a disastrous and illegal war. Men in suits led the banks and crashed the world economy. Other men in suits then increased the misery to millions through austerity. I we are to start telling people what to wear, maybe we should ban suits?

can't lie. I'm hooked.

I just want to see just how well a joke candidate, with no real policies, a seemingly thin grip on reality, and who seems more concerned with being a talking point and making a farce of the democratic process than actually serving local residents, fares against Count Binface.

It's hard to have imagined a worse 24 hours for Reform UK. And what's even funnier today is that despite all parties having announced they'll not field a candidate to fight Farage, Reform is still defiantly uploading campaign videos, like they're not in a contest with a bin.

The yankification of British politics is well and truly here. Attack anyone who dares to scrutinise you. Blame anyone who doesn't share your view as 'the political elite, or the establishment. The media, politicians, parties, educational institutions, public services, civil servants.

Play the victim, use your position to enrich yourself, use ethnonationalist and purist tests to decipher who is a true believer, patriot or Briton.

The Trump playbook in action, verbatim.

I've started joining every Google Meet 30 seconds early.

When you join early, everyone's virtual note takers join early too, I spend the first few seconds screaming about how l'm on the Titanic, weǰ've just hit an iceberg, the end is near, and I need immediate assistance.

I then do the rest of the meeting normally.

When the meeting ends, everyone gets an emailed transcript where the Al summary is:
