Worth a moment of your time

Great for Darwin given how tough a season he's had but a shout for Elliott too who's involved in both goals. Hopefully gets a few more minutes over the coming weeks

Good to see they've taken the hand ball incident so well

Gonna be no picnic going there in a couple of weeks

2130

Still in an unbelievable position but frustrating that going into Utd it could have been 8 points clear with a game in hand. Could be 4 by tomorrow but still a game in hand. No more backward steps now though

Big 15 for the manager here cos that was pretty dreadful

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 08/01/2025

We've been pretty poor here overall though. Haven't deserved to get beat mind but not quite the reaction I expected after Sunday

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

It's 100% a pen btw. He's gone with his head and got nowhere near it and took the player out. Unusual one yes but still a nailed on pen

Cba with any weather chat btw putting tomorrow in doubt.

Get in. That feels significant. Tomorrow is absolutely huge.

Forest away in a couple of weeks will be interesting. The manager mentioned them again post match. I doubt he's ever wanted to win a match more haha.

5270

After watching the side currently top winning 5-0 away from home having lost only once this season in all comps. Unwell the lot of them.

4220

Hopefully that Gomez hamstring is a 2-3 week job at most. Newcastle away aside, he's been superb since Konate has been out.

2250

Everyone begging Salah for his shirt there hahaha

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 28/12/2024

Great half. Opportunity to take Gakpo and Gravenberch off early if this stays the same or better and avoid the 5th caution. Gutted for Gomez.

1180

Nothing nailed on at this stage but given what we've seen so far there's only one team you'd back to get to 90 from here.

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

Been banging the Cunha drum for a while now but he's getting better by the week. Involved in both goals today and just a joy to watch.

Gakpo great there and deservedly got MOM. The relentlessness of Salah is a joke though.

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 26/12/2024

We've all had worse boxing days haven't we. Not pretty at times but job done.

1220

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

Stunning for the majority. Sort that sloppiness out and number 20 is incoming

2251

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

Chelsea got 50 pts the year after winning the league in 2015 with 87 points. It might not quite be that severe for City but pleased they're giving it a good go

2131

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 21/12/2024

No idea what Matty Cash is thinking there. Has to square that.

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 18/12/2024

Won't get many easier 45s than that

2110

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

But that's some 5 mins tbf hahaha

2110

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

The quality here has been fucking dreadful. Any half decent team comes away from this with something given how lacklustre city are.

280

Ian Ryan @ian1892r.bsky.social · 14/12/2024

Might end up being a big point given the circumstances but that refereeing performance will take some getting over. Gravenberch unreal again btw, that's some level he's hit this season.

Every chance they'd drop off a bit given everything they've won and the squad getting a touch older but christ this is some fall from City.

Done enough. Kept all the main fellas ticking over ahead of Fulham and have made light work of this phase of the CL. 18/18 ✅️

Not a brain cell between any of them. The manager likely gone before we go there.

That Onana mistake for the 2nd goal gets worse every time you see it. Reckon Alisson blindfolded saves that.

Some lovely results there today

Not a reaction to tonight but I really hope they back Slot in January. None of this nonsense about no value, there's business to be done if you're willing to stump up and another slice of quality in key areas could make all the difference.

3270

If you find yourself ahead with minutes to go you should see it out but given how poor we were for 45 it's not the worst result. Need some players back asap though

6220

After a great run the keeper has had a terrible night
