All the Goblin girls, lots of concept and playing around with styles The last one is water colour and not dry so not yet complete but all are a mix of pencil, ink and acrylic brush pens! #goblinart #fantasyart #traditionalart

Barbarian: The Greek Origin The "Bar-Bar" Sound: The ancient Greeks used bárbaros as an onomatopoeic word to mimic the sound of foreign languages, which to their ears sounded like unintelligible babbling or "bar-bar-bar" (similar to modern "blah-blah-blah") #Barbarian #Sheep #traditionalart

Finally. Silly image for my friend but also an experiment in adapting a style that sadly... Didn't work but I know why! There isn't a bad drawing Each one is a step towards a better piece of art :)

If you hate Generative Al, the best way to fight back is to support real artists ✍️

A portrait of a woman with flame hair and orange eyes. She is surrounded by moths lured to the flame of her hair and eyes

"A plus sized tattooed purple fairy with green wings sits atop a purple grape juice box labeled ""purple magic. totally organic. 100% fresh"""

A woman with a 1920s Bob lounges in a black dress holding a white fur boa. Several strands of pearls hang from her neck

I swear most of my year has been drawing @1kwordsartandphoto.bsky.social trying to get my vibe back. But soul searching, a new job and discovering a part of me that isn't the shape I thought it was I realise my vibe never left It just looks different these days :) Here is to the year ahead

The point behind this picture was to test out two sets of pens that I got Sadly the base colour pens, some duel tip felt boys with a brush end, worked like very cheap felt pens and where very streaky However the acrylic pens I got were soooo smooth So I need to test one more thing

Ian Blakeman Illustrations COMMISSIONS OPEN @ian-a-blakeman.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

I won't be doing as much art in the coming year, but it isn't for bad reasons Try to explain more soon but enjoy some lazily done Linework ready to test out some pens Just needs to be day time
