This one feels more like a Full revamp- Taking Ling into her furry arc so that she's _more_ monstergirl than before, and borrowing more elements from the inspirations behind her. Ofc most important is that her tail is bigger and fluffier now.

Ling, a Kitsune witch rides a broom in orange-red skies, with '2026' written near the broom. Also compared to Ling's 2023 reference image.

Another redraw of one of Ling's old outfits! Wanted to elevate some aspects by making them more 'authentic' but still kept the loincloth rather than give her a Hakama. Originally I wanted to do a Superheroes thing and Ling was supposed to be an Archer with magic arrows.

Ling, a Kitsune in a mask and Kyudo gear mixed with spats and carrying a red yumi. Comparing this 2026 version to the original 2018 design.

Grabbed a Ling pic from 2015 and (sorta) redrew it! I think my tastes have evolved more than my ability but it's nice to look at how I drew in college vs now. As for Ling herself I don't see this as canonical but Kitsune are shapeshifters so I guess this could just be a disguise idk.
