What a weekend! I got to participate in a photo shoot for the next WGU national ad campaign with hair and makeup. So much fun! Was interviewed on video as well as part of it. Big alumni party. Met the president and many board members and spoke in front of a packed stadium. Such a great experience!

Called to cancel my target card I’ve had for 10 years. The rep asked why. I let her know I won’t give money to companies that enable fascism. She said she respected that & thanked me for taking a stand. Canceled my Amazon store card too and commented why.

The guest room is mostly done! I still need to finish the floors in the closet and put a threshold down in the doorway, but it’s done enough to share. I am loving the whimsical goth vibe of it. Also ignore the cat tree. Our kitties claimed this room.

So the previous owners of our house poured concrete skim coat on the foundation before putting carpet in. They didn’t level it and it looked like a toddler rubbed it in with their hands. We spent hours chipping away so I can prime them for new vinyl planks.

I have site visits for a HUGE project we are bidding tomorrow so drove down tonight to a hotel nearby. Got upgraded to a "king executive suite" that really could come straight from 1985. Cracks me up. But it's clean and comfortable, so I'm not unhappy.

This dog. I had a shopping bag in the seat next to me. So he jumps up, is mad because he won’t fit, turns in 800 circles, then looks me dead in the eye and shoves my bag on the floor so he can lay down.
