I keep seeing people say their tiktok is back but can't access mine, what is going on?

Ugh, I just finished Blue Lily, Lily Blue and I'm so invested in these characters -- I don't have book #4 yet though 💔 #bluelilylilyblue #theravencycle

The cover of Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater and a bookmark of the character Gansey

The Maid and the Crocodile by Jordan Ifueko 🐊

I think the worst part about bluesky is I get very minimal to no interaction on here vs my interactions on tiktok and now I'm going to crashout. I already miss talking about books.

I got off work 30 minutes ago and am currently crashing out bc I can't do my habitual doom scroll

My Worst Reads of 2024 Powerless - Lauren Roberts 2/5 The Bridge Kingdom - Danielle L Jensen 1.5/5 Iron Flame - Rebecca Yaros Aside from the problematic issues with the author, I just couldn't get into this book. I DNF'd it very quickly and will NOT be picking up the rest of the series. 0/5

Day 1 of The Raven Boys: 166 pages down, 242 pages to go #theravenboys

I will definitely look into them! I love crime solving shows, those could be something I could get into

I've definitely read some more sci-fi based books, for example The Lunar Chronicals, Enders Game, some Star Wars stuff. I think Divergent and Hunger Games would be on the more sci-fi than fantasy too? (I'm actually not sure). It's definitely the easier genre for me to transition to.

Ooo that's such a good idea!

Any advice on how to get into other book genres? I'm an avid fantasy reader but wish I could expand out into some other stuff. I also have adhd that makes it hard to stay focused on something that isn't my typical interest.

My next read (and probably last of 2024) It's only been on my tbr for, oh... 12 years? I figured it was about time. #theravenboys #theravencycle

Thank you for the amazing recs 🙏

I am so so so happy to end 2024 with this being one of my last reads. This novel is a 10/10 for me. The themes of this novel are heavy and so important for us to sit with. How am I supposed to just... move on from this book? "Truth over delusion. Growth over comfort." -M.L. Wang

I just read Uprooted by her a few weeks ago, I'll have to check out her other stuff!

I've been boycotting walmart for a while now and this has just justified and solidified my decision to do that.
