I AM SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED to finally be able to talk about this! Resident Evil Requiem will be an incredible entry into the Resident Evil series. The team really cooked with this one, and I can't wait to be able to share more in the coming months! 💜

Happy 6th anniversary to Resident Evil 2 Remake! I'll never forget how magical and oddly nostalgic it felt to get to revisit a reimagined RPD as Leon and Claire. It was also the first title I worked on since joining Capcom, so the game is truly special to me. 💜

A horror legend has left us... RIP David Lynch. Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, some of my all time favourite watches... All these works greatly influenced our favorite horror games - Silent Hill and Alan Wake in particular. Lynch's legacy on gaming is undeniable. 💜

Resident Evil but make it dramatic 😀 I've started uploading some recent-ish playthroughs to YouTube while I get back in the swing of making actual new content. Would mean the world to me if you'd consider subscribing for all the future horror content pls 💜 www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbUl...

HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2025 bring you all the things you need and more! 💜🎆 Hoping to spend the year healing from recent times, and finding my way back to myself. I spent the entirety of 2024 planning ahead for a happier future, and hopefully this year I can start to reap those benefits!

Man, no one prepares you for the pain of losing friends and how long that grief lasts. It's brutal.

So many brilliant must-play titles, Signalis being one of them!

You are forgiven, for now :D

I love Resident Evil an insane amount and it's probably my most streamed game, but mannnn RE fans need to widen their horizons and play some other horror games, instead of expecting new RE entries every year. There's tons of cool stuff out there, experience it!

Just a small notice for any Resident Evil players on iOS - a small patch rolled out last night that allows you to boot up and play the games without any internet connection! 💜

oh totally they had their own brand of super long-lasting candles. If you can crate tyrants, near-infinite candles should be a breeze.

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 01/12/2024

there's a reason for that haha, I have my work from home setup on the left so I need that mouse pad space

Multistreaming nowadays is the way to go, no reason not to spread your brand wider. And yeah, OBS is a godsend, such a powerful tool!

Siiick! Always so nice to move and have a fresh new canvas to decorate 💜

Thank you it's super WIP atm but am really liking the vibe atm

Thanks very much 💕 I know a lot about the hustle and how rough it can be. Happy to chat about anything streaming or stream tech related

You can get one of those anti reflection covers for your camera lens as well!

Thank u 💕 it's super WIP lol we are still living in boxes over here

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I've been through it all with lighting lmao, started with a cheap ring light, then went 2 elgato key lights and now going back to ring lights cause I much prefer how they illuminate faces. My rec is going ring light for main and a key light or 2 on the side

100

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

You too huh? Yeah this definitely presents some unique challenges for our streaming setups haha. Absolutely would have gone L shaped desk if I didn't already have this one.

110

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Ayy this looks great! I was always a bit hesitant about curved monitors in a multi monitor setup, but yeah this looks dope af

110

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I'm so glad to hear that, one step at a time and it sounds like you've made great strides already. I have spent many years building this setup and have been fortunate enough to get some freebies over the years so it's absolutely a slow process.

110

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Oh yeeeah that's so annoying, i would much rather get an elgato cam under those circumstances. I'm very fortunate to have 2 cameras each dedicated to streaming or vlogging/photos respectively so no switching!

200

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Oh Elgato cameras are great, I just have a preference for DSLR's and their output is a lot more customizable

110

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Good for you. Hope that platform is working out for you.

010

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Algo doing what it's supposed to cause I just found you 💜

010

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

thank you :) and agreed, I've found that more clutter just overwhelms me so much. Granted this setup isn't done, but will try to keep it 'clean'.

000

Kat @iamkatastrophe.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Sorry I've been so quiet online lately, kind of just been enjoying the peace and quiet in our wonderful new house. I had to get a new DSLR camera for streams since we accidentally fried the old one, so have to reconfigure that (oh joy) and finish my setup before streams start again. 💜

Coming up on 10 yrs now. After a personal trauma in 2021 I lost my way, can't get consistent and people leave in droves. There's far more interesting people to watch I guess and it's hard to keep up the happy energy. Can't grow if I can't stream, but can't stream like this either. I feel stuck.

We live up in the northwest and just had the tiniest amount of powder-like snow on some of the roofs. I've heard people way further south having more snow, wtffff
