All three parts have over 200 faves between them, though lots are duplicates. Duplicates are good, of course. I want readers coming back. Also I know there's folks who follow it and like it but don't want it in their faves. You know who you are.

Furries are great because as long as a creator is still trying to update, we'll forgive them for being slow.

You know what's real nice about how I developed as a writer these last years? All my editing and learning how to do it better and better means I can actually go back and read it and enjoy it. Hell, I can crank one out to it. Didn't used to be able to do that.

But Mephis being a skunktaur is intentional. It keeps Kai from getting stuffed into pants. Keeps him exposed. That skunk tail can naturally be held up. Gives him that null spot between the front legs. Bending enough, they can see one another. It gives me a lot of flexibility when writing them.

It occurs to me that people might not get how well-tuned Ending Up Behind's characters are in a physical sense. Like, the specific choices I made are obvious to me, but maybe not to others. Kai's blue fur against the black butt is an easy one.
