Each one was another reason to believe victims and each one a number of people had lit as not having proof, saying they just wanted attention, Tom was a nice guy with a career so he wouldn’t do it, but ect I do believe it ended with Tom putting in REFRAD packet if memory serves

I think that was a defining moment in miltwitter era when the first allegations came out and how people reacted. Seeing a victim openly accuse him and then watch the gaslighting happen around it literally every stereotype of the military handling of the issue in real time

There’s legit stories from the deployment where I was so out of my shit confused I was smoking one of my soldiers because I thought they were being disrespectful when I told them to get their first line supervisor and they couldn’t understand what they needed to do because I was in front of them.

Very similar to my experience in 2011/2012 They never denied that I was blown up or that my medical condition was complex, just that I had to figure out what I needed on my own, while deployed, with a TBI severe enough I didn’t know anyone around me…

This feels personally familiar. Only difference is field grades are going on the record so it can’t be ignored and is more credible This story hitting just a few weeks before my 15 year anniversary of my TBI. Some things haven’t changed.
