Today would have been my Papa’s birthday. I got a cake to sing and wish him happy birthday and wrote him a letter. It’s the first time I’ve done that since he’s passed. I’ll always miss him but I want to celebrate him too. He deserves that.

Anyone else really like Alex Warren? The more I learn about him and the more I listen to his music, the more impressed and overwhelmed I am. WILDCHILD is a great album. The grief acknowledged in his lyrics. The joy and wonder in other songs. Perfect mix. My vibe. Happy and sad at the same time.

Anyone want to help me get to the UK to get my Social Work degree since the US doesn’t believe in having helpers anymore? I knew this is the way it was going but the reality of it is so upsetting and heartbreaking. I just want to help children. Advocate for children and keep them safe.

I feel really happy. I’m engaging in my hobbies more and loving it. I feel really grateful for this life I’m building. I have a lot of faith in the future (hey-oh, I miss Louis) & I believe in my goals and myself. Hanging onto this as I head into my rough time of the year. 💗

Got out two more Sprites in Fortnite. I know no one cares but I’m having so much fun playing this game & now with the Kingdom Hearts stuff in there with the other classic games nods it makes my heart so happy. I’ve always been a video game girl, I just finally learned to express my love for it.

I always get confused when people say “oh it’s such a hard job. You’re so patient.” about my job. I don’t know how to respond. This is just what I do. I’ve worked with children since I was 17. I have 2 degrees in this field. Babies have been the classes I’ve worked with the most. It’s what I do.

This was my little crafty project today. I made the cloud from air dry clay (forever ago actually) I added the beads. My original plan was to use embroidery floss for the rainbow but I like the beads better. (There is only ROYGBV no I but that’s ok!) 🌈

I somehow got caught on the lid of my kitchen bin and slid across the floor a bit and landed on the floor. It was a very confusing experience. I’m fine just not sure how it happened 😅😅
