This is bloody wonderful. Full disclosure, I do have skin in the game here, but seriously, this is a belter. tidal.com/track/548214...

Did you see the movie, Everybody Digs Bill Evans? I confess that I nearly walked out after 10 minutes. It was all a bit angular and noisy. I’m glad I stuck it out, though because it’s a masterpiece. Bill Pullman is wonderful.

Yep. No surprises here, and the only ones discovered post adulthood are Hejira and The Bends.

Yep. This. Still not over it. I’m 57.

Sunny Belfast, Martin. I’m pretty sure my name is in your RAM Album Club Book as a sponsor. It was an Unbound project wasn’t it? I could check, but enjoyed the book so much I lent it to my eldest!

I loved RAM Album Club, and I imagine this will be wonderful. Manchester in March, eh? I may have to make a trip over to see my daughter, and take in a show…!

Leith is wonderful. Spent two nights there for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, in (on?) the Fingal. Had a cracking feed in Cutting Chaii, and a few halfs in The Kings Wark, if I recall correctly. Loved it.

Lovely. Never been to Portobello, but used to go for hungover walks at Cramond on rugby weekends. I bloody love Edinburgh.

All I’m getting is vocals louder, slightly further to the left, and a bit more John on Drive My Car. I mean, what’s the point?

Wonderful! I was in Wells, Somerset last week, playing at the Jazz & Blues Festival. I’ve had enough lager and Chianti to do me for a day or so. Managed to stay away from the cider….😅 Quiet night tonight, retail therapy, decent food and Guinness on Saturday is the plan.

You could call them a tribute act, but to hear Five Years played by the original drummer, and Width Of A Circle with the original bassist was actually pretty emotional. Woody said a few words at the end, and if Glenn hadn’t taken the mic off him after 5 minutes I think he’d still be talking! 2/2

Iain McKinney @iainso65.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I was at the Holy Holy gig in the Limelight last night. Really good fun, Woody was immense on drums, really energetic for a 76 year old and Glenn Gregory nailed the vocals. 1/2

Well, now there’s a thing, young Brannigan. I never knew you and I shared a birthday!! I’m a happy Heinz 57 today. Don’t feel a day over 60…

I’m a fan of this album. I love the production, and whilst the last two tracks are far from classics, I really enjoy the rest of it. Moz does sound jaded at times, but it fits the songs, in my opinion. It’s not my favourite of theirs (that’s The Queen is Dead), but it’s still a cracker.

Ach that’s shite, Mr. C! Get well soon. Will you ever play the piano again?

Likewise. So powerful. Not enough people have seen this, and many who have still don’t get it.

We watched the final episode of 70 up last night through a blur of tears. This is a beautiful eulogy to both Nick and the most extraordinary television programme we're ever likely to see in our fleeting lifetimes

Andy, I’m just catching my breath. The whole thing was incredible. Tears flowed. For me, the fact that I was given the freedom by my parents to start watching this incredible show at age 14 was what sent me over the edge. Just incredible TV, and a privilege to have been alive to see it.

I watched the Brighton vs Arsenal game. Brighton were fantastic. Quicker to every ball, hungrier, fitter and most importantly more skilful than Arsenal. You are 100% correct in your assertion that other teams could learn a lot from their application and desire. It certainly made for great footy!

To anyone who works on a radio station, here’s an act of shameless family self promotion. This is Klyda, featuring my youngest daughter on lead vocals! Please add it to your playlist. Despite the obvious conflict of interest, I think they’re really good. tidal.com/album/548214...
