This goes all the way down to the series's 'Zaku'. The Graze looks a lot more like the Leo (OZ's basic grunt-suit) than is common for a Zaku-expy.
The EB-06 Graze, thirty seconds before getting squished by a grotesquely huge melee weapon. The OZ-06MS Leo, thirty seconds before exploding for no particularly good reason.

... but that said, just as Mika and Kudelia are distant descendants of Heero and Relena, the Gjallarhorn aesthetic probably has its Patient Zero in Gundam Wing's Treize Khushrenada.

It looks quite like him (yes, he does actually have surprisingly pointy ears), but still a bit too close to the world's most infamous antisemitic caricature for my tastes.

More of these two from back when Chloe (the dog) was one year old:

This is definitely something he inherited from one of his in-universe inspirations, Amuro Ray.

I remember Ema the alchemist in the first Garo anime being pretty cool. Kept throwing up death-flags and then kicking ass while steadfastly refusing to die.

It is true that animators tend to have to heavily simplify CLAMP's elaborate costume designs in order to, well, animate them (just compare Code Geass's screenshots and concept art). GoHands just got extra-lazy and resorted to wholesale plagiarism of close-enough real-life fashion photos. An example:
Original CLAMP illustration of a guy in a traditional onmyoji outfit, causing every animator you know to experience crippling phantom wrist pain.A doll with a much simpler onmyoji outfit, which GoHands decided to steal as their replacement anime character design.

You can directly trace the increased salience in the U.K. to a massive influx of American money in 2016-17. There were no public interest stories that kicked this off, but there was the founding of formal arrangements like Hands Across the Aisle (plus its less overt precursor orgs).

This does, admittedly, run into challenges with edge cases like the Landmates from Appleseed.

While G Gundam does not, sadly, include a goblin Gundam, it does have oni Zakus with big frowny eyes. They get beaten up by a kung fu grandmaster and his samurai apprentice.

You even get knights in vaguely-shiny armour, even if they lose out hard to their brothers to the south and east in style points.

I remember Jedi Survivor being real good about droid diversity. The bartender at the outpost that served as the game's hub was sophisticated, emotionally intelligent, and looked like this:

The Death Note manga team's misogyny is, unfortunately, overt and constant. It's actually their manga-about-manga, Bakuman, where they spell it out most directly.

One thing that receives a little less focus than it might in general discourse is exactly how chemical-pumped Vietnam servicemen were, even by the standards of twentieth-century wars. I mean, holy shit, your heart stood a good chance of exploding before you even met a VC.

Had a readthrough of Isshou Senkin recently. It's a work by the author of Kengan Ashura about female underground fighters beating the everliving shit out of each other, and may be relevant to your interests.

It's clique-driven - not precisely or fully top-down, but persistently ahead of demand rather than behind it. The recent anti-trans crusade is a classic example of a story created ex nihilo - there were no significant public interest events at the time that caused this spike in articles.

Google 'Jason Arday woke', and you'll see a long list of columns from the Mail, Times, and Telegraph (plus foreign right-wing media) on this exact theme. Examples in screenshots:

As I've mentioned before, I think some of his hero outfits are OK. It's really a question of whether you want him to keep the helmet as a good guy.

I like how the Milady from Shadow of the Erdtree was introduced specifically to cater to this market. It even lets you do a swaggering 'come at me' pose before you start carving some poor idiot up.

There's this, and also the section on state constitutions and the 10th Amendment at the bottom (which makes a universal right to education a consequence of all fifty states' agreement on a right to education). Also, Brown vs. BOE specifically held that private education offered inadequate coverage.

It's fun, but I think I prefer the sleeker, cleaner look of its probable design ancestor, the Romulan D'deridex from Star Trek:TNG. Now that's a ship designed to look striking from any angle.

Gove is simply continuing a grand old Spectator tradition. Remember that one of its longest-serving columnists was Taki Theodoracopulos, who played a key role in founding the transatlantic 'alt-right' and gave the magazine headlines like this:

Even if it wasn't, tin bronze (the version used for blades) tended to come out silvery-grey a lot more often than you might expect from what we modern folks think of as a 'bronze colour'. Here's a Greek museum's reconstruction of two of its swords with tin bronze blades and gilded handles:

From the description we get of him, I imagine him looking a lot like Cal Kestis from the recent Star Wars Jedi games. Dweeby, babyfaced redhead who is absolutely not cut out for this shit, but has resigned himself to getting it done anyway.

Reminds me of the Iceblade Sorcerer adaptation. Here's how the manga and the anime introduced the exact same character (apart from all the obvious differences, note the poorly-composed background work):
