Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 04/10/2026#BeybladeX Streak broke unfortunately today. Still trying to fill in a blank for myself. Did manage to get a good clip though. 050
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 27/09/2026#BeybladeX I managed to win my second tournament in a row, and got a Hellsnether set out of it which is nice! 070
Reposted by Inferno/InfiniteErielle Sudario 🔜 PAX AUS 2026 @cutiejea.bsky.social · 26/09/2026Over the last 10 months, I've been part of the Australian #BeybladeX scene. I wanted to understand why people suddenly became interested in these spinning tops, while also documenting my competitive journey. You can read it here: erireviewsthings.com/2026/09/27/w...erireviewsthings.comWhy I Blade - Inside the Australian Beyblade sceneI entered Melbourne's competitive Beyblade X scene for fun. Ten months later, the hobby had become something much more than just a kids toy. 032
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Beyblade was actually initially planned out to be something closer to a monster hunter/catcher series than what it is currently. 000
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 18/09/2026There are a lot of factors for combos involving ratchets that we probably don’t have the time to go into, which is also part of why I’m suggesting more combos with the Expand Line of UX blades. I do think that the line up gives you a lot of matchup coverage though, so hopefully it works out. 010
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 18/09/2026You could use Rod 1-60 Free Ball to have a better time against other Rods if Hexa is popular. Glory Valkyrie Rush is a pretty good attacker if you launch hard with it. HellsNether being new is also a good responsive option. I think Level would be good with it. Or Hexa if you take my suggestion. 110
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 18/09/2026I have seen parents and grandparents participate and do very well in events. I helped a kid’s dad pick out some options though he ended up using stock combos unintentionally, and he ended up placing third at that tournament which was fun to watch play out. 010
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Try the new ones! They’re pretty fun and there are a lot of scenes for them. 011
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 18/09/2026There is a new line of Beyblade that is very fun and very open to all ages. It’s definitely worth giving it a try. 111
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 13/09/2026The game is really fun right now with the X line, and there are a lot of events official and unofficial worldwide. 011
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 13/09/2026It’s close but is not exactly the same. Hobbyani shows more directly feature engaging with the toy/activity in a way that can be emulated, like how beyblade shows an exaggerated form of the actual game. Transformers is more standard using the show for establishing role-play or general play purposes. 100
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 13/09/2026*I did not mention hobbyani initially lol, my bad. But the point still stands. This is a good explainer to the medium as well if you have time. youtu.be/xKzb7kOdgWM?...youtu.beYou didn't know this anime genre had a name.YouTube video by The Daft Brothers 100
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Yugioh is the main example right now of a series that currently doesn’t have a supporting main anime with the interest I think coming more from nostalgia and varied interest in the card game. I also think that Beyblade X is supported a lot by the current competitive scene, but the anime still helps. 100
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 13/09/2026It’s actually rarer for a series to not have an anime accompany it by that note as well, but as the means for people to engage with the franchise change it is harder to rely on just the series alone. 101
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 13/09/2026It falls under the hobbyani I mentioned, which you can think of as a more elaborate method of using a show to sell toys. Though the “hobby” part is more of a loanword since it can apply to things beyond the core idea like how Pokemon has more than the video games. 100
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 12/09/2026The handling of the game for the international side was also a major issue however, and X is a lot better in that regard. 010
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Burst changes the main character after the first two seasons because (allegedly) the producers were focused on maintaining a specific demographic more closely than other gens which is an issue. However I do like the first two seasons for how grounded they are and the third for it’s spectacle. 210
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 08/09/2026#BeybladeX Reminder to rep your mains to the point that they can beat opposing combos at their own game. Samurai Saber 1-60 H vs Wizard Rod 9-60 FB 040
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 07/09/2026#BeybladeX Placed Third at Locals for my third podium in a row. Got to also finally try a match against Bullet Griffon with Saber. 020
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 05/09/2026So you actually should check if you have a locals (worldbeyblade.org is a good spot to start from), cause then you may want to think about getting a deck of beyblades instead of just one for tournaments. Beyblde X (the current line) is cool cause it allows for way more hype moments like this: 000
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 01/09/2026There isn’t really a good option for 3-80. But Cobalt Dragoon and Phoenix Wing are options for 5-70 from my experience. 110
Reposted by Inferno/InfiniteCoop @riderstrike.bsky.social · 31/08/2026While I was preparing for my interview with their CEO, the folks at TAKARATOMY took notice of my passion for Beyblade… So, they kindly offered me the opportunity to chat with three key members of the Beyblade X toy team—Yamazaki-san, Takaoka-san, and Kusayama-san. This one’s for the bladers! 12818
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 31/08/2026I do recommend checking out the WBO rule page because it is very detailed and provides clear answers to most issues (no worries if you don’t take it as gospel lmao) : worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Beybl...worldbeyblade.org 010
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Bonus: B4 (the ruling oversight applied for matches in Asia) also determines a match that has multiple outcomes by the timing of what occurs first in a match. Also note that under either application reversals can change the outcome (if Drake had returned to the battle zone spinning, it may have won) 110
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 30/08/20263/3 Drake however does stop spinning in the pocket and is thus also unable to return. Since Drake entered the over zone first, the over finish was thus initiated first and Drake would be the loser of the match. 110
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 30/08/20262/3 In this case, the over finish is initiated for Drake first but as it is still spinning in the pocket it has not become out of play yet. As Leon Claw is sent to the xtreme zone, its finish is also initiated and then scored as it moves outside the stadium and is clearly unable to return. 110
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 30/08/20261/3 For the WBO, a finish has to be initiated and scored. For over and xtreme, they are initiated when they enter the zone and scored once they become out of play (stops spinning, bursts, or can’t return to the stadium.) 110
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 30/08/2026#BeybladeX I got to judge at the Edmonton GP Qualifier/Canadian National Tournament! It was a pretty fun experience and I had a great time with matches and meeting people, including Brendan from BeybladeGeeks! 030

Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 22/08/2026Beys deserve to be used and considering Saber is my main I think it’s fine (a friend just hooked me up with a second blue samurai saber so to think I could’ve saved a copy for a collector’s kit if I waited two months is rough but it’s ok) 000

Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 19/08/2026It should be fine assuming there are combos you want to use. If you find one that is tighter that’s good but I wouldn’t go out of my way to commit to finding one. 000
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Yes, because they’re all held in place by the lock chip and there is variance since most parts are made in casts and molds, there is tolerance for how the parts hold which cause the CX blades to be shaky after assembly. 110
Inferno/Infinite @ia132.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Apologies. You can customize the beys to change their performance and also apply launch techniques to go for favorable positions early on. 010
