Costco has churros again for a limited time. And it’s so fun, not just for the delicious & cheap treat but for seeing everyone drive out of the lot eating one! Myself included.

Meta is blocking pages from sharing links. Unless you pay $50/month, you can share 2. At $50 you can share 8 on Facebook, 4 on Instagram. What a mess. So far I've heard this blocked a nonprofit from sharing a volunteer link. But what will the impact be on news? It's $500/month for unlimited links.
Meta One pop up explaining the benefits of paying $50 a month include being able to share 4 links in posts on Instagram and 8 links in posts on Facebook (instead of 2 for free). Want to share unlimited links in your posts like you've been doing? That costs $500 per month.

My whole place smells like German chamomile. I’m drying what’s likely the last batch for tea. Not the most bountiful year, but everything grew. I even had a volunteer carrot - must have been a seed from last year. I’ve already got half my seeds for next year too, somehow my mind is in February.

This is beautiful - a patch of glacier has been tucked under sheep’s wool. It slowed ice loss by 50-70%. My mother told me about this and no one else had read it, so she wondered if it had been a dream 😆

It gives me hope that teens boycotted a coffee shop for choosing ai over local art. I’ve also seen a gift returned because the art on it was obviously ai. At minimum ai is frustrating. Worst case, it’s intended to break our trust in and value of real art and writing by filling the space with slop.

Really hating how streaming services are releasing weekly episodes. Everyone moved away from broadcast tv for more control and no ads, old services collapsed, and now streaming is bringing back ads and schedules - but you have to pay for a ton of services to see what used to just be on tv.
