The Pacifica pier in the heart of Silicon Valley was permanently closed yesterday due to wave damage. Many mourned that the cost is too high for the city to repair or replace it. None mentioned the Pier was the only place to fish with/o a license. That people could feed their families for free.

If you think current counter gerrymandering each year is unfair- remember that demos can run on requiring a federal law to have states use equal bipartisan committees to redistrict in each state - once they are elected. Especially in the South. That’s redesigning democracy so it works for all of us.
