I'm all for playing more SoloQ, but I tend to not play it often because playing both a lengthy SoloQ session and a comp session in one day looks like a recipe for quick burnout to me 😭😭 I want to maintain as much consistency as possible

nothing boosts my ego more than people going "ugh I hate fighting ballpoint" in my scrims, this weapon's been hit so much by the devs like how are you complaining at anything other than my sheer skill lmao

There's quite a lot of talk about how much better the NS2 pro-con feels for aiming, I wonder if it's gyroscope quality that was improved rather than actual input delay

Hyperstar @hyperstar7.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

also the lack of third kits is still shocking and definitely makes the game feel more dry for a lot of people

The map design really affected Splatoon 3's casual playerbase retention way more than meets the eye. The maps can make this game so draining when you're just trying to hop on for the sake of playing a few games, Splatoon 2 had a noticeably more active casual playerbase near the end of its span (imo)

since most of the #compsplatoon is on bluesky i should probably use this opportunity to actually put effort into rebranding myself as a player by posting clips and talking about the game and whatnot here 👍so here's a cool clip from yesterday in sq
