Deltarune fanart of Tenna and Battat (the green pippins, in his Small Mike costume).

Left image: A reference to a meme of a girl using her hamster to wipe away her tears.
Tenna is holding small Mike as if he was a hamster and using him to wipe away his tears. He is sobbing and saying "Oh Mike, why did he leave me..." and the tear streaks being smeared are making subtle rainbows on his screen. Mike looks annoyed by the situation, but he isn't saying anything. His foam costume head is being soaked with Tenna's tears.

Right image: Afterwards, a grimacing Battat takes the costume head off. It's totally soaked and his own head is shiny and wet after taking the head off. Text with an arrow points to the costume head and says "The fifth ruined costume this week."

A message for my fans in Latin America. (plain text is in the image alt-text if you need it for translation.)

Recently, Fangamer asked me to make a post in Japanese regarding the translation of OFF.
Well...in the responses to that post, I noticed some frustration from Latin American fans. Let
me address a few of those issues now.

1. There is an officially licensed UNDERTALE concert series that unfortunately has no shows
planned in Latin America. I did retweet its schedule on request, but I have hardly any
involvement with the concert series and no input on where they perform. But, the organizers have heard the enthusiasm from Latin America, and I personally think it would be great to
have performances there. I hope it works out!

2. Fangamer’s shipping costs to Latin America are prohibitively expensive. As just one of
Fangamer’s clients, I am aware of this problem and I’ve asked them about possible solutions
before. I think it would be amazing if they could find affordable shipping to Latin America (and
other affected regions), but they have expressed that it’s a huge logistical hurdle. The other
shipping methods they’ve tried had a lost package rate of over 50%…

Still, I think Fangamer is interested in finding solutions, so I hope that we can figure out some way to get affordable merch to Latin American fans. Fangamer is very easy to work with and
truly passionate about the things they make. I really trust them and would prefer to collaborate
exclusively with them on merch.

3. Unfortunately, there are no translations for UNDERTALE into other languages besides
Japanese. That includes Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, but also every other language –
Chinese, Korean, Russian, French, German, Italian, and more.

I know it sucks that there are no other official translations for UNDERTALE. But I want to
make it clear that this isn’t because I have a grudge against other countries. It’s because, if I
release something official, I want it to match my vision. I was only able to do this for the
Japanese version because I know Japanese myself, and I worked very closely with our
brilliant translator to thoroughly check the text. I am not against official translations for other languages if we could make it work the same way… In the past I have looked into various options with my publisher, 8-4, but nothing has come of that yet. Maybe I should try a different approach.

I’m very happy that there are unofficial translations on PC. Considering I don’t understand
other languages, letting fans interpret the game without the burden of being “officially” perfect is amazingly helpful.

As for DELTARUNE, it’s just not feasible from a development standpoint to support other
languages right now, since it would make the game take longer to come out...
---
I’m honored to have many fans across the world, and of course that means Latin America too.
I don’t want anyone to feel left out. I’m sorry if my silence made me seem like I was ignoring
anyone.

guess what I just watched #deltarune #tadc #theamazingdigitalcircus #Caine #tenna #fanart

Doodle of tenna (TV head with a suit and tie, and a little pin that's says TV on his left chest side) but his entire screen is covered with a big row of semi-realistic teeth)

Same doodle as before, but this time he's also holding a mic on his left hand and has a right arm. There's also a small additional portrait doodle of him opening his huge mouth to reveal a pair of eyes without eyelids, both looking in opposite directions, giving it a kind of deranged look. Heavily inspired by Caine from the amazing digital circus

One if my OCs <3 I don't know anything about her outside this drawing #OC #Art #drawing #howdoItaghere

Unfinished Drawing of a woman with round glasses and chin length, messy hair. Only her right eye is visible, the other one is concealed by her glasses. Her mouth is slightly agape and she has a mostly bored slightly intrigued expression on her face. She's also wearing a tank top, and anything below the middle of her chest isn't visible. On the top left corner is an even more unfinished drawing of the same girl, but all that visible is her face, her right cheek and a little of her neck. She's wearing the same round glasses, but this time she's smiling a closed eyed smile.

That green creature that I hate #deltarune #battat #pippins #miketrio

A red pippins is sleeping with a bubble coming out of his nose. The text says "fell asleep during work hours". Right behind him is a green pippins (battat) with his eyes wide open and a shadow covering half of his face, reaching for the red pippins shoulders. He looks like he's gonna try and take him away. The text next to him says "concerned coworker kindly trying to wake him up"

Again green pippins (battat), just blankly starring into space, with his eyes wide open and his mouth pulled into a thin line. Over him there's a thought bubble with just the word "olives" and a little drawing of a single drawing. Also Flowey is there in the background for no reason. I just wanted him to be included

Mi little chocolat ❤️ ignore tenna

On the left side is a little doodle of tenna, a man with a tv head in a red suit with a yellow tie, comically frowning while facing onward. He's sitting with his knees on his chest and his white gloved hand on his knees. He looks like a kicked puppy. On the right side is a little doodle of chara (only their head though). They're smiling and open-mouthed smile while looking to their left. And their hair is messy

We'll receive the first draft of the Japanese translation of Chapter 5 next week! Meanwhile, we've been polishing the game and doing some preliminary internal bugtesting on PC. Heavy bugtesting across every console will happen when the Japanese translation is done.

Smoke break

Battat from Deltarune in the backstage area of TV world. He is on break smoking a cigarette, a tired and annoyed look in his eyes. He is wearing the Mike costume, but the mask is on the ground beside him, smiling in contrast to his "done with the world" expression. Behind him, you can see the blue cupboard that contains the pipis. Perhaps he just finished singing to it.

This art is basically a redraw of a photo of a man wearing a Minnie Mouse costume taking a smoke break with the head off of the costume beside him like this.

A friend of mine was using a tool to analyze market research for his game. As a check he tested it on DELTARUNE. Seems like I have a lot of things to work on...

Weaknesses:
- Unskippable cutscenes
- Some chapters feel half-baked
- Minor bugs
- Excessive makeout scenes
- Slow segments in gameplay
