Wig progress! I'm halfway done with the actual glue part, thank god, and I'm really stunned/happy with how it's coming out~ Hopefully I'll have the other half done soon so I can do the shaping and trimming and patching and airbrushing (and maybe glittery things to imitate her hair sparkles...)

After so so so so so much crimping, it's time for the exciting part of wig STRUCTURE* *just kidding, my UHU glue was compromised out of the package, so I'm waiting for more before I can get batting on this bad boy 😔

Oh my God I forgot to make so many updates OKAY LET'S GO I had a lot of miscellaneous stuff, adding arm cuffs, getting the collar details/closure done, sewing the legs into tubes and attaching them to the bodysuit, then SO MUCH GLUE

So anyway, now I'm doing both--thumbnailing followed by big messy lumps of interwoven sketches that I cut apart and put into my panel layouts. Feels DEEPLY freeing, lmao. I even used sticky notes this week!

Aaaand both legs are ready to be sewn on to the bodysuit! Ough that curved quilting was a pain. Plus I got the lil garter clips ready to go once the Great Glue-ening begins.

Had to take a short break to get new fabric, repattern the boots, and fully test them, but we're back babeyyyy!! I'm really glad the knee piecing turned out well, but this little inserted garter belt with stretch lace is my favorite part so far. 🖤

A paper pattern for a thigh high stocking, with marks for cutting apart to make separate pieces.

A white stocking laid flat, with a piece of nude power mesh sewn to the top and a black vinyl piece sewn to the mesh.

The white stocking, mesh, and vinyl piece now sewn flat to reveal lace on the top and bottom of the vinyl, and with another piece of mesh sewn above the vinyl, making it into a garter belt.

Skirt is DONE, the first piece to get finished and it only took me, like, a year lmao This triumph makes up for the fact that the boots did not fit so I had to order new fabric for them 😔

Latest endeavor has been tackling the skirt fins, which I've been dreadinggggg. But it's going really well so far! Just need to paint the top pieces and then I can add them to the skirt and attach the back pointy bits.
