i love arknights. pramanix alter's attack is normally 991; this is in IS6 & she's been fed All Collectibles thanks to the Ling infinite looping strat. at 16550 attack her snow murders enemies as soon as they step on the tile, and dying doesn't count as leaving so the snow stays lol

my lunch ended up super instagrammable completely by accident? meal prep: salmon (baked w soy sauce & a cajun spice mix), brown rice, and broccoli (steamed then mixed w peanut sauce and peanuts)

this week's meal prep shaping up well - the first is herbed salmon on rice, with a side of steamed broccoli and peanuts tossed in peanut sauce (literally buy 3 things and combine - fast and tasty). the other is a ground beef stir fry with peanuts, onion, green and red pepper, and hoisin sauce.

i was directed to a page about the order in french that has a porcupine stone relief wearing a similar style of necklace... which i THINK supports my theory, but i know less about stonework stylization of jewelry than illustration

in theory it is specific to the order of the porcupine... but all descriptions of their regalia are completely different from this illustration. these are not three chains! there is no world in which these are three chains. i want to know if there is anything besides this piece about these

well, that didn't quite work, LOL. my "starting ratio" was 1.25:1.25:2.5:3:4 teaspoons of butter/milk/sugar/flour/eggs, with the butter becoming vegetable oil as the 4t "egg" became 2t oil, 2t water, and 1t baking powder. clearly, a little too much material - 1t sprinkles did not help either

prebaked cupcake batter: a single spot in the cupcake tin is fully filled with batter, made slightly colorful with sprinkles

plus you get all the differing poses - if youve never seen an animal in that pose or That animal Ever, you're gonna muck up mechanics. this example is more for the banana trees than the tiger, but one of my favorite paintings came a few hundred years later & illustrates the same kind of issue

Fight Between A Tiger And A Buffalo, by Henri Rousseau, late 19c/early 20c. The tiger has an awkward mane and muzzle, looking a bit lion or dog-like. The scene is filled with unrealistic flora Rousseau would have heard about but not seen, including banana trees with the bananas hanging upside down and tree-sized ferns. It is clear from examination that Rousseau is a skilled painter, but had no idea what any of thr painting's contents were supposed to look like, making the painting seem amateur without context

CURSED FOOD REPORT: shockingly better than the normal version! we made both pork dumplings and candied sweet potato dumplings; the pork was made with napa cabbage and i was disappointed the seasoning didn't come out well. there's a lot left over so we'll have to try doctoring it for next time

here's where we stand now. the sides are open again (originally closed one with the idea of holding the other shut) bc it turns out my measurements are Wrong As Usual. bottom needs about an inch added to the circumference, the waist area needs like 3 inches added. idk what the front waist is doing

this is the goal & where we're at. i'm small but carry my weight in my belly, so part of this is meant to see if i can actually get a bit of wasp waist going (iconic for 16c brigadines)

Some additional looks at what I'm doing; the second image doesn't really showcase what I want, but my phone camera refuses to focus enough to show the weave. This is more or less how I sew, pinching the outside seams together & whipstitching across.

Both gores are shown together; it is obvious which one was Frankenstein'd together, but they are otherwise identical in size and shape

The Frankenstein gore is held up by index and thumb, pinching just below a seam so that the sewn thread sits on top of the fabric crease

Now you get pictures! I like starting with preparing the half gores so I have all my pieces ready to sew together, so this is the completed Frankenstein gore for the first shirt. I needed to add ~1-2", so the rectangle is slightly wider for seam allowance. I sew by hand with whipstitch.

Here's a quick sketch. No measurements, I'd have to find my sketchbook & notes to give an accurate description for the gores; though the general idea is neck to hem x2 for body length, 1/2 chest circumference for width; sleeve is shoulder to wrist (on bent arm) x bicep circumference; gussets ~5x5
