Honestly, the best way I can describe CS3 now is that this game is trying to be both the first and second game at the same time. It's fine but 72 hours in and I'm just wanting the game to end so I can move on. I think I'll drop it and save the finale for another time.

This game should have been a Juna + Rean protag game. Rean having to be the protag for the Leeves section and during the first half of field exercises really hurt the role Rean plays imho. I feel hard pressed to like New C7 as well bc most of their development is in relation to Rean and that might be good for some people, I think it just stifles their identity a bit, and it takes a good while for them to do stuff outside of wanting validation from Rean.

Despite that I do think I like Raquel and Ordis and I think Chapter 3 is leagues better than 2, but it's very unfortunate because the game wants to have CS1 and CS2 section at the same time, it creates a very lengthy experience that honestly I think I might want to just stop doing sidequests altogether.

Last note but I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE the Einhel Keep so bad man we did NOT need an Old Schoolhouse repeat I'm so done. I'll drop this game for until I have more time to play but sheesh this game more than others I feel like needed to be 20 hours shorter.

Cold Steel 3 has been a very lengthy journey so far and chapter 2 has been chokeful of very strong moments. I very much like how a lot of things from the older games are finally paying off here that I couldn't imagine playing this game without Sky/Crossbell, however (1/3)

I have been informed that this fangame has been taken down by Capcom, that's really unfortunate as I think it could've been improved. At least it's current state is nice for a good proof of concept

A few days late but I'm so glad we got something about Kyoto Xanadu, and I'm doubly surprised we're getting it this year too. I doubt I'm getting it on release, but I'm glad nonetheless that we still getting non-Ys/Trails games from Falcom.

Finished the base game for Sonic Frontiers. It's honestly extremely good considering Forces preceded this, and it hit highs with it's hype moments and aura. I'll try Final Horizon sometime later, but I'm comfortable putting this at an easy 8/10.
